I have a playset of almost every Hidden Arsenal archetype in their DT foiling 👀👀 so I’m gonna be grabbing the ones that didn’t originally come in DT rarity 🥵
The DT cards look very hit or miss for me. Some of them look amazing but some, mostly spells, look like something you would find in a market from a home printer aha
With all that generic cards sprinkled in the set you should definitely make a ,,One Box Each" Revz. And you could both try to build a different archetype so it's not like a mirror match. 🔥
Hidden arsenal cards which were notoriously bad sets even when released. None of the archtypes were competitively playable. Only individual cards like trishula were ever played. And then there is some...anime/collectible nostalgia baits which have been reprinted to death recently... with mediocre promos. I'd be really surprised if a worse set was going to be released later this year. Very underwhealming.
The set is nothing but shameless nostalgia bait and "look pretty cardboard!" bait. Then throw the 5735 millionth Blue Eyes and Dark Magician reprint for good measure whenever they're utterly devoid of any ideas to push otherwise unsellable crap.
Better than the crapshoot that was battle of chaos. Nothing but DM nostalgia bait in that set and nothing of meta value in that set. I would definitely take this hidden arsenal set over BACH any day.
@@fawfgaw6355 battle of chaos was along the lines of blazing dumpster fire. Except blazing dumpster fire had at least 1 card that was super valuable, whereas BACH's most valuable non-starlight or dark magician is only 40 bucks.
You pulled a lot of the set, I think you maybe got all the ultras, missed 2 promos (which are really cool reprint synchros not from Hidden Arsenal sets), ut I think there are just a ton of commons. Always love your early openings, you're the first I go to
I don't know why they didn't reprint the fabled support that came out a few sets back. But, whatever. They gave Dark Paladin a cool new rarity, so I don't really care that most of the set is nostalgia bait shoving Yugi/Kaiba down our throats for the 87th time.
I didn't know this was a thing coming out. Honestly this hits be a lot in the nostalgia department with so many cool old boss monsters and cards being reprinted. Love the dice enough to probably pick up a few, hoping to pull a DT trish, brio, and having the Dragunity KNight Barcha reprint is actually huge for me as a dragunity player. That skill drain is easily going to be 20 bucks a copy though.
I need that Discoball Rare Unicore :D Fabled Unicore is one of the most fun decks to play in 2012 World CHampionship ngl The theme is so unique, just the archetype doesn't really support the upkeep. The deck needs some searchable cards that increase or decrease hand-size... I used to do it with Quick Synchro draw effects.
I mesn given that the announcement wss really forgettable and they didn't hype it up or annouce it more than once, it was gonna be disapponting from the getgo
I'd really burn some money on a couple displays... IF I HAD ANY. Thinking on buying the dragunity and armed dragon singles, alongside a skill drain playset, the deep sea diva synchro (for synchro overtake target) and a couple of DT cards I like, like Poly, which I hope won't be too expensive. (I also want those dice really bad, man, they are so cool)
A lot of cool cards but I love the mst, book of moon, skill drain, and that card trooper hooo. If one for one and foolish burial were in this as duel terminal ultra damn that would be awesome
I did not pre-order any of this set and forgot it was coming out tbh. I'm gonna buy a couple boxes and Trish if I don't pull it. Lava Golem also seems like a nice card to have, all that sparkle in your opponent's monster zone lol

It’s so annoying that about half of the holo pulls you got were just old yugioh boss cards and generic shyte. If I’m buying a set called “hidden arsenal” which is themed around hidden arsenal decks and has them on the front as the main attractions, funnily enough I’m not looking for a dark magician. If they desperate wanted to reprint classic cards in a new foiling, they should make a reprint set to do that, not have them steal the spotlight from decks that already aren’t too popular. It really says something when you’re watching a hidden arsenal unboxing and the main cards the person wants are dark magician blue eyes red eyes and buster blader. They really stole the spotlight in the worst way possible. It’s not even new support with interesting effects, it’s just reprinting shitty cards that are only played because of their name.
I mean, it's not like they're random. The non-DT-archetype cards are mostly cards that were reprinted in the first few Duel Terminal sets. Also, they only make up like a sixth of the overall set. Personally, I'd be more excited to pull Skill Drain or Barrel Dragon than like Dewloren or Grimro. They probably could've fit in a handful more archetype cards (Naturia Maron and Divine Wind of Mist Valley come to mind), but those are largely either far more recent cards (like a lot of the Dragunity stuff), or were originally commons and thus not particularly difficult to obtain, so would only be particularly "wanted" for their DT variants.
@@RiverShock I get that the people who aren't too interested in the hidden arsenal decks would be happier getting the other stuff, but I don't get why you'd open the hidden arsenal packs if you don't like the hidden arsenal decks. If you want barrel dragon, the better desperado one is in one of the legendary duelist packs, so you'd probably be better off doing that
@@isickell8714 Wanting cards from the Hidden Arsenal archetypes doesn't mean you don't like or want any other cards, nor does it mean all cards from those archetypes are useful to you. For example, I just happen to like Barrel Dragon. I also own less holo Barrel Dragon than I do Dewloren. Beyond just wanting the DT-style one, why would I be more excited for literally my 6th or 7th holo Dewloren over like my second Ultra Barrel Dragon?
Wow, this sets sucks ass. It is like the simpsons meme with the barbie doll, but it rereleased with a new hat. Same shit here, but with a "new" holo foil. They even included the "can't go wrong putting this into as well and the idiots will buy that shit like crazy" cards that got more printings than they should have. I have the full DT set (just for lolz and lore) and they came in super and secret. How did they manage to downgrade a aweful set that was terrible 10 years ago.
