Yeah the grey block is just part of the landing gear. It's the same mould as the vintage bwing with just a few cosmetic tweaks - not bad for a 40 year old toy design ;-)
Hey Strat Pack, thanks for that! I'm always surprised AND pleased to hear stuff is rolled over from 80s... proves they got it right ✅ back then!!! Like the Zev Senesca Snowspeeder is apparently the 80s mould! Ace! 😆 😉O.O.K 👌🏼💙
Such a great addition to the room! Makes the star fleet look more complete and comprehensive. One of my favorite aspects of your collection is how meticulous your collection is and that you don’t just buy and throw up every single figure ever made, good or bad! You put so much thought into building the exact collection that speaks to you; that brings you back to the special childhood moments! Kudos. 🤙 Look forward to your videos each week!
Great ship, its a classic. The grey block on the bottom is just a carry over from the original design. It use to be a compartment for battery's as the original had laser sounds👍 Great video as always OOK👍
I’ve had my b-wing displayed horizontally for some time now and always hated that the lower wing sagged just a little bit. I had no idea that one of the engine nozzles would fix this issue. Thank you!
No worries Steve... Still not as good as when elastic bands are around it, but yeah, cranking round the rear engine seems to to lock it more in place! 👍🏼
I remember this one, it was a Toys “R” Us exclusive I bought it also. It was based on one of the Darkhorse comics it was cool that it came with a different stickers so you could use to make the B wing whatever version wanted. I never was able to get my hands on the Kmart exclusive vintage collection return of the Jedi repainted version. That’s a good addition to your collection!
Great looking ship, loving the factory fresh look to it. The cockpit is nicely detailed with a good pilot figure. Nice to get some options with the stickers and love the tie fighter kill markings, nice touch, plenty left over to add to your other ships. The whole room is coming along nicely and those extra two cabinets fit in the cargo hold a treat...here's to the next one
Congrats on 5k subs mate🥳thoroughly deserved and more🍺🍺 Gorgeous vehicle, thruster engines look great with sunburst paintwork👌🏼 In canon B-Wings were primarily used to destroy imperial capital ships. They weren’t much good in dogfights like x-wings and therefore didn’t pick up as much carbon scoring as other fighters … hence the lack of weathering on yours😉👍🏻
Only thing that's put me off buying this b wing version is the colour but out of all the other versions is the cheapest one to buy I've found even the power of the force version is over 100 on secondary market
Another nice vid! I really like these Legends deco vehicles like this, green A-wing & Y-wing with blue canopy. It adds quite a nice variety to the rebel fleet. I've got this version, the TVC & Power of the Jedi one. I believe the only one I'm missing is the original, which I had about 20 years ago & sold. At the time I got mine, I did a bit of research, apparently Lieutenant Pollard's designation is Black Dagger, the other colors are intended for the other members of Dagger squadron. Looks like Hasbro intended for us to army build the ship, but never released the other three pilots.
Yes I found out the hard way after customizing a Boshek figure into the cantina spacer for my cantina set up that enamel paint left the figure sticky and tacky so I had to sand off the old paint and start over with acrylic paint
I have one of these in my collection. And I can tell you that's yellowing there on the tail gun. As well as your landing gear. I would have haggled with him a little more if I was you. But it's still a great ship and it's one of my favorites! You can't beat having unique things in your collection! And make no mistake! This one's one of those!
Nice updated B wing fighter from the original 83 one I have got on Ebay for £55 with a mint b wing pilot on a bid win needed replacement right wing gun and stickers. The fire button the original had with batteries inside similar sound to the original y wing fighter.
I was finally able to acquire Keyan Farlander VC63, and I have a chance on getting a vintage collection B-wing🙏🏽 but the power of the force looks nice as well. But I love the weathering on the vintage collection version
Decent looking vehicle but it is very clean looking....the Star Wars look is used and dirty apart from the Naboo Starships and fighters. Still it's a B-Wing. The room is looking awesome mate.
Awesome!! Someone else said blue so that's now x2 blue votes!!!! Haha. I'm onky just checking comments boe so it'll be interesting to see who says what! 😉
Love the rebel fighter, never got it in this size though..it has so many different ways to display it and the space it would take..the foil locks are many..and would require a stand..also that cockpit has that Slave 1 style...how about a Rebels B-Wing prototype with colour scheme?..very cool...have you got Sebulbas racer?..that would fit nice next to Anakins..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
Love your collection brotha! I’ve bought 3 of them when they came out. Opened 1 and left the other 2 in the box. The B wing is huge and sturdy ship. Too bad hasbro doesn’t make toys like this anymore. Keep collecting and cheers!🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍😎🎸
@@OnlyOneKenobi Army Painter do some great model washes (you can make your own but first time out it's best to buy a decent one. You can get them individually but the Quickshade Wash Set is a bargain and you never know when they might come in - I'm eyeing up repainting a faded Max Rebo and that blue wash seems just the ticket). If you really want to lean in then Vallejo do lots of effects mixes - I'm looking at their Dust and Dirt set for making my own Remnant Stormtroopers. Their Weathering Effects range has an embarrassment of riches - I'm pondering going all in on an AT-DT but prices seem to have gone nuts over that.
I don't mind that it's not weathered. It looks like it's come fresh from the factory. It's funny that I was there when you bought it too. Looks ace out of the box.💥💥💥💥💥
Congrats on your B-Wing! I was pretty excited when I got mine. So far I have 4 different B-Wings if you include the vintage one. Your Loose room is really growing. Love your content, I always look forward to your next video.
Well thats one of the reasons why I left it in the box cuz you can see it and beside my vintage version is out I have done that to other vehicles of that line
Nice ship, good yours works nicely, my POTJ B-Wing needs some help with rotating, a seam is in the way, kinda hangs on it. Think i will sell it and open up the Vintage Collection one that i have, it has a better more realistic look to it. The Dagger version is nice, but i didn't really need another B-Wing and the price was never good over here (150+.)
That is one awesome ship! Im thinking of the colour stickers, colour codes X wing is red A wing is green and Y wing is Gold so perhaps blue?even though Rogue One the X wings were blue but red in A new hope :-) sorry Im going on arnt I 😆 Great review shame we saw very little of the B wing in Jedi!
Love what you’ve done with the room Nick it looks great man! I wasn’t sure about the B-Wing at first but after watching your vid I really like the look of it now! I was going to ask if you knew a Harrison Ford Solo head sculpt that would fit onto VC124? I love the overall sculpt but want a Harrison Ford head sculpt on it, since you’re the king of figure hacks 😉 do you know which heads fit? Cheers!
@@OnlyOneKenobi that video was the reason I got it, you're my favorite Star Wars channel. I took a break from collecting for about 10 years then I found your channel. Now my collection has absolutely exploded, and I am holding you responsible 😂😂😂
