I really LOVE the RETRO Collection into Star Wars Hasbro world... STAR WARS VETERAN FAN SINCE 1981. COLLECTOR AND WRITER ON STAR WARS.

The original Luke Jedi head was made both with a brpwn head with a painted face, which gives you the worn nose, and also with a pale head with painted hair. I have both.

I know everyone takes what happens in the OT for granted now but get this.. When I saw Jedi for the first time in 1983, on the big screen when I was 14, I seriously believed it was Vader walking in to Jabba's palace in his flowing robes. I didn't know it was Luke until he approached the guards.

That soft cape Vader should have been released back in 1985 - and with a removable helmet!

When I was a kid, I somehow had a blue lightsaber for Luke Bespin, however it was before Jedi. I think it may have come in the accessory weapons gas masks and backpack mail away. Don’t remember if the blue saber came with that or not. I know that in later waves they did give Bespin Luke darker hair and the blue saber, but that was way after I got my blue saber. My neighborhood friends kept trying to steel my blue one, lol

BOoYaH!. Go on son. I like the Retro. I can't wait to see the Cantina aliens line. Maybe get a Baniss Keeg or a Dr. Evazan. A Boshek would be brilliant 👍👍👍

I think they should re-release every original Kenner figure, but with a slight upgrade or alteration to make it distinguishable from the 70s&80s versions (No reuse of molds). Like having the taken hands, or at least one hand that rotates for the weapon holding. Maybe release it with a blaster as a variant. Release R2 and R5 in middle leg versions, and Leia re-sculpt with soft goods dressed.

These figures do look good, I have to admit. Although I will be sticking to my guns and only getting the original 96 in Retro.....if they decide to do anymore.

I always remember opening my vintage Star Wars figures as a kid. I was born in 1972,so remember getting them every Xmas and birthdays. Specifically one xmas I remember getting Logray,Lando skiff guard,wicket and a biker scout. And I got the emporer through the mail away. I still love it when I actually open a figure now....still. And I always smell the figure whilst its still in the plastic holder lol. Great video as always👍

The Darth Vader is awesome gives big 80s vibes and hes cheap just his peg holes arent big enough .boba gets good too,I have hera arriving soon .I love the ones with holsters and more than one weapon.i think sabine looks good too.retro vehicles would be nice.

Really like the Green lightsaber with Luke looks great!! Great bunch of retro figures.

I picked up a few Retro last year, nice figures. Not sure about the new media although I did get the Morak Boba to put in the cockpit of the Slave 1.

'The Worst' Super 7 Re-Action figures are really nice. 'X-3 The Enigma' is very cool and fits in well with Retro Kenner style figures. Some are a bit too silly but a few are defo worth looking at (if your displays are most varied and encompass more than just Star Wars of course).

Opening retro carded figures leads to the dark side. I have the mandalorion and kenobi retro figures loose and carded the chopper I have loose is from the rebels line with kannan in the Y wing scout pod bomber. Retro kenobi has a pistol holster for his gun

The retro biker scout goes well with the vintage collection biker scouts too.

I had pick up the Vader because of the soft goods cape and at £4 it was a bargain

It took me awhile, but I got hooked hard on the retro collection. It’s a really fun line for toy photography and it fun to set them up in the modern tvc vehicles. I’ll definitely be buying the ones you opened in this vid. Fun line, but frustrating when they get figures that we aren’t getting in tvc.👍🏻

Such a great bunch of retros! Vader is sweet. Like a 1983 version. The red eyes and normal saber are highlights. Love that new Tusken. Need to pick up a couple more openers to go on my Kenner shelves w the OG Sandpeople. I also like that Boba a lot. For the same reason as you, Nick. A cool, limited changes variation of the original Boba. Excellent additions to your loose room! Also w you on Reaction figs. Most look terrible. I do love my retro 5poa Johnny Cash figure, however.

I'm not a huge fan of the Retro Collection outside of the Original run!!! I dont understand why they are doing new media with Retro figures!!!! I feel like they should have done a Original 96 Retro!! I think opportunity missed Hasbro!!!! Keep up the great work OOK!!!!

Hello OOK I have question, un tour collection are you nota afraif that the White figures get yellow because of the sunlight? I always dont know if the (White light that you have in your room is enough to make the figures get yellow
