Opening the WORLD'S Rarest Pokemon Pack (again) 

*For a chance to win it; what's your favorite BS2 holo I pulled today?*

I remember seeing people with that charzard in school treating it like it's a crumpled up dollar bill in their pocket. 😅

I'm willing to bet the Clefable and Raichu being on that uncut sheet was due to them originally being used for Prereleases for Base Set and Jungle, despite not having the stamps. I know the Raichu is like the holy grail of Pokemon TCG collecting outside of the Illustrator Pikachu so that would be super-cool to own but uncut sheets are still really nice. Wish they used those as prizing for side-events at Pokemon TCG Regionals sort of how Yugioh does with their uncut Starlight Rare sheets.

You hold the cards in the absolute worst way possible; you don't need to cup them. If I were grading that Charizard and saw you opening and holding it like that, I'd rate it an 8 out of spite.

Raichu is so special to me, always saw him as such a rare Pokémon since Pikachu didnt want to evolve

There's something so special and nostalgic about seeing these vintage openings. Absolutely loved the Scyther you pulled! Such a beautiful card.

Every vintage opening makes my nose remember the smell of wizards of the coast cards. Unforgettable just like the first time I pulled Scyther, always my fave🎉

Zapdos was so legendary.. they didn’t do articuno good enough in the card game

Zapdos was my favorite of the legendary birds. He just looked so aggressive and ready to fight at any moment

That scyther artwork is still among some of my favorites of all time in pokemon, so classic and nostalgic for me

@Leonhart - I think the most nostalgic thing in opening these, is to have the childhood feeling over and over again. It's been this feeling to live through the times when you felt what you just felt looking at these cards and collecting them with others as a kid. Especially when you loved the anime in the past. It's just pure enjoyment.

People are not risking it now, just have the whole box scanned. It’s $75+ to have them scanned and if no charizard just resale get another. That is what people are doing now

The holo Zapdos from base/2 honestly is so underrated. Though Alakazam is also a very cool pull!

My favorite pull from today was the holographic Scyther - background fits the Pokémon so well!

I always imagined the Zapdos at the Power Plant appearing with the same artwork as the card. It's like Ken Sugimori was recreating the first encounter with Zapdos. Love that card so much

Raichu is my absolute favorite holo. 1st edition and BS2 bring back so many memories from my childhood it’s amazing. Now almost 40 Pokémon will always hold a special place in my heart! Thank you for everything you do!

It makes a lot of sense that the Raichu next to the clefable would be a pre-release also. That makes tremendous sense to me because I absolutely unequivocally remember seeing a pre-release Raichu in 1999 at my local comic store!!!

The best pull of the day had to be the Alakazam!!! But since its base set 2…Scyther. I was hopping for a zardy party today but no gold.

Hey so I’ve never been into collecting but I found my old stash of Pokemon cards in a plastic bag from like 20 years ago. I found some expensive cards like Entei and Charizard and tons of Holo’s/Reverse Holos. Cards have a bit of a curve to them but besides that decent shape. What should I do if I want to sell them. I just got a binder to put them all in. Some of the cards are worth hundreds ungraded and up to thousands if graded. Btw most of my cards are from this pack

So, it's super amazing you can buy packs like that. But I'm all here like, "damn, that's a decent car for my kids and I" lol. Congrats on the Alakazam pull, thank you so so much for opening these amazing packs for us!

personally its the Raichu BS2 for me, way back in 6th grade I traded one to my friend not knowing what it was haha.

Growing up my friends and I used to collect these and play in school. I never got many 1st edition holos but my friend had dozens of them. But….being kids they got treated like crap and eventually ripped or thrown away 😂 they were worth nothing back then to us

my favorite ones where Raichu, Zapdos and Ninetales because i love those pokemon because Zapdos because is one of the clasic legendary and because i love the electric type, Raichu because i love that holographic and because the anime when the s.t surge fight ash, finaly Ninetales because the card, also because the type and because the legend of the nine tailed fox

Zapdos 100% I remember pulling it in a mall in front of the dolarama. I held on to it forever but lost it in one of my moves. Love seeing packs opened from when I was a kid.

I had 1st edition charizard, blastoise and venisor with a bunch of other great hollows. I kept them through high school around 2006/2007... I had them all protected and one day my stepfather decided to destroy them like a dick... I still have all my first edition yugioh stuff though... blue eyes, black eyes... no idea what they are worth now... i got them at blockbuster in the starter packs lol I think their was 3 starter packs, yugi joey and something else

I remember when they said on the card promo, or pre-released. I remember something in word printed on the cards way back in the day. Proof maybe. No they said misprint. Thats what I remember. It's misprint. 4th pull no holo Pidgeotto. Still cool 5th pull Oooooo, beautiful Nineltails. 6th pull Prof imposter oak 7th pull not Holo Pinscher 8th pull Oooo not Holo Snorlax. Still cool 9th pull beautiful holographic Scyther 10th pull non holographic dugtrio 11th pull non holographic venommoth 12 pull trainer card I will not ruin the last pack thats $8k in value. The Charizard pack. Out of respect for the content creator and audience. They will have to watch the end to see. I never thought of weighing packs. Very smart. That's amazing. What a thrill!!!! Such a treat to watch. Ty.

I remember back in primary school around 2003-2008 all the other boys were trading these cards, I loved Pokemon and played my blue on my Gameboy religiously. My parents were poor and couldn't afford to buy be cards so I never asked, so I traded some items from my lunchbox for more desirable items or for items I knew others liked, after a few trades I would turn my yoghurt or fruit into a couple chocolate bars or packs of crisps, I would then use these to trade for Pokémon cards, I applied the same strategy with the cards, I would harvest everyone's less desirable cards until I had a stack and then use the stack to trade many for more desirable choice cards. I was so frugal and business minded when it came to pokemon, after a couple of years I had a stack of cards half ft tall and never bought one. Unfortunately my mother was a bit of an abusive psycho and as punishment for not doing chores she ripped them all up in front of me, but after a couple more years I had build my stack back up again and finished primary school with the biggest stack.

Collecting Pokemon cards in public school in England was fun. 50% chance to have some black kid walk up with 3 of his mates and rob your cards. It brought a really intense roguelite element to the card game.

I've never touched a Pokemon card in my life but I've been a fan since childhood watching your videos are so nostalgic and exciting! Love the alakazam! Thanks for the awesome videos

Watching these makes me regret not keeping my massive pokemon collection. I had a lot of these cards including holos back when I was a kid (31 years old now ) /= I think I had around a couple dozen holos and probably a couple hundrend cards altogether my collection would have been worth a fortune if I still had it. Also Gen 1 is the best pokemon generation.

I remember playing with the original pokemon cards growing up. Between my brother and I, we had quite a few pokemon cards from the original series. Unfortunately, over a decade ago, I gave away all of my pokemon and yu-gio cards to a friend who was a lot more interested in them than I was. At that time, those cards were not as valuable, and I was trying to cut down on the amount of stuff that I had lying around. Edit: at the time, my older brother had lost interest in the pokemon cards, as had I.

Yesterday was the first time that I’ve ever pulled the Charizard from a Pokémon pack and I have thousands of cards. It was pretty cool. It was the sword and shield one the rivals older brother Charizard.

Is this make me weird?? I don’t care all these cards that have a huge value or stuff I don’t think that I have ever managed to get a card from my favourite Pokémon …. So at one point I did stop trying and give away all my cards, my favourite Pokemon is mimikyu and haven’t manage to get one that is pretty sad not even 100% sure is like a very special card for him

I need to go find a reputable place to check my cards. I have like 3 folders worth 😂 most I'm sure aren't worth jack but pretty sure every card I ever bought was from back in the day I'm 35 I kept them for sentimental reasons

When I was a young punk I used to steal 1000's of booster packs from stores. I had 40 first edition of everything. Lol to think if I kept any of those cards instead of using them for bike spokes. 😅

Raichu is my favourite. Pikachu always has the limelight as the unofficial mascot but Raichu deserves an honourable mention sometimes.

Cant watch things about charizard cards lol. I had 2 of them and 1 of them was chewed up by my dog. Had binders under my bed, he went under my bed just to chew the corner of my pokemon binder.

I am absolutely brand new to Pokémon card collecting... AKA TGC, lol, and I am fascinated by watching you guys all open mystery boxes and booster Packs, and seeing some of the old cards that I had as a kid not knowing what they're worth. But I'm learning and discovering the TGC I only became interested in card collecting again 2 months ago when I stumbled across an old box of mixed Pokemon cards there were about 250-300 cards in it from a house clearance there are quite a few HOLOS in there, I'm currently in the process of analyzing and assessing them. My favorite HOLO that you have pulled today is Alakazam... Plus If anyone would like to help contribute towards my newly started hobby/collection I'm more than happy to receive your donations❤

Hey. So I’m not sure how consistent this is, but doesn’t it seem like IF there is a Holo in the pack, it is a damage type that art on the pack is weak to. If someone can disprove this, I wouldn’t argue with them.

Imagine a card capable of being sold for 10 bands with a fingerprint in the foil. That’s 1st Edition Base Set Charizard.

That Alakazam from the first edition pack is so beautiful! My favorite though was definitely Scyther, that holographic treatment was lit!

I just can't get the tins 😫🤣. I pulled a blastoise god pack on Christmas day. I love learning about the different sets although I'd never try to collecting them all haha. Thank you for your videos

That Zapdos card reminded me of my best friend, when we used to trade and play with Pokemon cards over 20 years ago. Last month my passion got reignited and i started opening packs again, i even found my old card collection! Zapdos was and still is one of my favorite legendaries of all time, and best one of "The Birds". Would love to have that one! Anyways, great video as always, im happy to see you still have a lot of passion towards Pokemon and bringing it all for us to see :)

Favorite holo is probably the Scyther, such a classic design and looks even better with the base set 2 holofoil.

A rich guy who has a heart of a kid and a very good, nice, and kind soul too. I'm a security guard and I get bullied by rich people like yourself almost everyday. I happily greet good morning and be friendly and nice and I get these "death stares" and "no reply back" responses. I stereotype that all successful people are like this but people like you help me think differently and that there are few or some good ones out there. You have no idea how rich people brag a lot or think they are better than anyone else (specifically towards security guards and janitors) but I try my best to just let it go and continue working. Thanks for not being like them. I feel like you would be the good ones and reply back "Good morning" back to me when I greet it during work. Hope things are going well with your channel. And thanks again for giving to the youth and hospitals in the past.

I would just be Happy with a Gengar to be Honest with you Man, I never got lucky as a Child to own those. Family wasn't able to Buy it growing up due to my Dad being injured in a Truck wreck (18wheeler) so we had to give up and loose a lot. Gengar was ALWAYS My Fav.

Just started following and watching a few months ago as I got into S&V 151. Watching you pull from these packs brings me back almost 25 years ago when I would buy these from the local convenience store. Love the Raichu the most because pikachu was always my guy!

Okay first off, weight does not matter. I’ve proven that over and over. I tell everybody, it takes one pack. You just need the charzard witch most people, that’s the only one that matters. I understand why people are leaving this guy though

Zapdos is the only one I didn't pull from base set. I traded a first edition syther to complete my set as a kid, Zapdos, Nidoking, Mewtwo. Fist holo was Raichu and Venusaur, birthday packs Christmas I pulled a Charizard.

I have 5 charizards, 4 venusaurs, and 2 blastoise 1st editions. Had them since I collected them 25 years ago.

My favorite art design is the Scyther, but Alakazam was always a favorite Pokemon of mine!

My favorite pokemon from Gen 1: Mewtwo, Dragonite, Gengar, Alakazam, and Ivysaur. Favorite pokemon of all time: Sableye. The Alakazam is straight fire!

Raichu definitely my favorite that you had pulled today. but that Alakazam looked amazing, it looked very blue in the background. i've had Base set Alakazams with both blue or Purple backgrounds
