This is awesome! I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I didn't know there was a way to get steering down to 6 mph! Is that what the jvePilot fork is designed to do? Would this work on with comma three?
My comma device is in the mail now. I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee I'll be installing it on. What software do you recommend? Is JVE still the best, or would you recommend one of the other forks?
@@CrumResearch thank you for the recommendation. No matter which fork I use when my car comes to a stop auto pilot disengages. I was under the assumption it was able to resume from a stop.
@@Kr0n1k8 Have a look at the source code! Definitely room for improvement and opportunities to make OP move towards the functionality of Tesla Full Self Driving, when it comes to handling stops, intersections and obstacles!
Check out the Github repos and Discord groups, including jvePilot. Openpilot can probably be adapted to the most recent models of Grand Cherokee as well as Wagoneer, especially since vehicle interface code is open source.
yes, now we do, on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Older neural network model was used when this video was recorded, however. We returned the RAV4 and will probably buy a second Jeep, plug-in hybrid no less! Drive on sunshine...
@@Ffej702 Wow, yessir, prob so! I just saw a new Trackhawk at the "Hot cars in Hyrum" auto show yesterday, and the owner started and revved it so we could hear the supercharger sing!!!
