great trip,, bust out the tube jigs for bass on that lake, let it sink, with a jerky retrieve. We have a broad winged hawk working our ridge all the time at the cabin, thanks for sharing., Bob

So peaceful. Glad the inflatable worked out so well. That light from Bass Pro Shop is ideal; I must check into it. Thanks for bringing us along 🛶

Nice trip nice vid. Can I say 1 thing. I might get into fishing for the dinner out there and I'm just starting to learn ( i'll do my own crash course)...but one thing I've heard multiple times already is to NEVER click the bail over..manually click it over. Apparently leads to a whole lot of problems. And I believe when you start reeling it back in there should be zero slack...should be taut. hey I'm just learning.

Like the camo on olive clothing . Too bad about the small lake . Could use a sonar on both lakes

I would have thought so too . But i have never fished Opeongo itself . But i have had some fantastic catches nearby. Will email you the lake name and details .No need for the inflatable too . @@TheWildYam

Hey Jen, so crazy I was there that weekend too, we stayed up above the big island in the east arm. That lake is HUGE. Our little motor beat made it possible with the little kids. What beautiful weather. I love watching your camping videos. Thank you for sharing. I just got a call today about plb information update. They must be doing a blitz. It was nice that we could just update it over the phone quick. Have you ever tested yours? I haven’t tested mine because I’m scared to mess with it. I have the same one. Cheers ✌️🇨🇦

Get out!! I bet you boated past us! Such a big lake. I hope you had a fun time there, too. Yes, I have tested mine, but not often, so I don't depleat the battery. I have to check the back expiry date to see when I send it in for a new battery pack.

Jig & pigs work great for autumn bass here in NW NJ USA 😊…also best to wet your hand first before touching a fish’s scales…so they don’t stick to your hand when putting them back and damaging their “skin” ….Catch & Release!

Just so you know, it's illegal to pick mushrooms in any provincial park!

Is that Justin Barbour? For sure not him, at least not for a couple more months. Jen, I have to say how much I appreciate that you are easy going, not stressed out about much, too much water in your eggs & bacon, no big deal. Don’t have kayak paddles, no big deal, I can just use this… It’s fleshing, you’re not seeking perfectionism 👍🏻

No Justin is way up north in another province. From his updates, he's doing well.
