Oh my god marco! I love GBF with a passion. Two good recommendations i can give is. "World of Arcarum: The New World Order" and "And You: Orologia Theme" They're pretty story heavy themes, One from an area where you grind alot of materials to upgrade summons, and the other from this year's anniversary event.

I hope someone recommends you Luminiera Theme. It's an amazing theme that makes more sense if you call her "Chevalier". The phase change is amazing as it looks like a cavalier riding into battle.

YAAAAY MY BOY GOT FEATURED (i have all his units and still wait for him to get a summer unit in the game lol). I suggest listening to Europe's theme, Yggdrasil Omega theme, Fifth Primarch and Zero. Tho i can say a lot of songs and melodies in this game are dope and worth a listen OH also - we had an exclusive song for Persona 5 collab, which is a Persona 5-themed version of Dark Silver Wings (which i also recommend - specifically one sung by Stella Magna group), named Dominion Black Dragon. It's sooooo goooood!

Yay, more Granblue! Grimnir is one of a series of boss fights, and they all have pretty good themes. Would highly recommend Shiva and Alexiel's themes for more of that grandiose fantasy flavor.

Always love to see some Granblue featured on this channel. You'll probably be surprised the more you listen to it's music. There is so much variation you wouldn't expect the game to only have two composers, one being Nobuo Uematsu when the game just started, and later his apprentice Tsutomu Narita took over when Uematsu retired from the project.

I think my favorite thing about grimnir's theme since he is a being of wind is how his theme evokes the feeling of flying so well. Kinda like being in a dogfight! It's a fun but solid theme fitting of his character! The feelings you get that were intense halfway through the fight is when he stops holding back, and then it feels like you're the one being pursued. My favorite themes i recommend are Orologia's theme and leviathan's theme imo. Since you heard bahamut's theme the p5 collab version, "Dominion Black Dragon" is also good

Oh wow I didn't expect you would cover Granblue Fantasy too, somehow missed this video before. Even more surprising to see you started out with one of its weaker themes, normally the OST isn't so electronic and is more musical, symphonic. It has a lot of amazing music. My personal favorites are Rose Queen and Tiamat Magna themes which include captivating vocals too.

WOAH never did i think i'd see you do a gbf video!! the songs in this game are incredible, and for good reason- nobuo uematsu is one of their main composers (for the earlier songs, at least)!! uematsu and tsutomu narita are the legends behind most of the gbf ost- so much so that you can get them as SSR summons in an event lol

yay more Granblue Fantasy! edit #1: you're totally right about the fight being more of friend vs friend. it's been a while since I've done the unlock quest so I could be wrong but the stakes are never really high with him. He just acts like it. Love him edit 2: I'm not sure if its the video you had up for this or just the general audio mixing but the music was WAY louder than your voice commentary! Had to manually adjust audio every time so I didn't blow my ears out every time the music started back up. Regardless, happy yo hear more GBF and I hope it can spotlight some more in the future! Especially with Re:Link coming out later this year hopefully there's some hype for that

Marco! A FANTASTIC OST to followup to this, would be any of the Megaman Zero games!!! Falling Down, or Straight Ahead are fantastic, filled with energy! departure is a CLASSIC, and badass! You've got RAGNAROK! and so much more!!!

Highly recommend checking out Zero, Morning Light Hymnus, or Existence. Granblue music is all amazing but these tracks always stick out in particular and they have vocals in them as well. Love your content, hope you cover more Granblue soon!

“Dancing Windstorm”, Grimnir’s battle theme is such a delight to listen to! I’m intrigued that you mentioned an air of reluctance/ regret in this music since Grimnir, despite his cheerful and theatrical character, is a primal beast, a godlike figure in GBF’s world, many of whom were originally created as weapons of War, who appears to have learned much from a mortal child he befriended who had lost his parents in that original conflict and thus decided to use his powers to protect the skydwellers. If my memory of how these battles were added to the game are clear, I think his battle served as a trial to test the resolves of the main character and their traveling crew the further they go towards their journey across the skies so a battle between friends is a great way of seeing this theme :D There’s so much great music in Granblue Fantasy and I’m certain that folks have mentioned their recommendations (Paradise Lost, Parade’s Lust, Zero and Existence [and Morning Light Hymus, which you had listened to before] are connected through its characters and their related stories). My personal recommendation happens to be Orologia’s theme “for you.” due to a lot of things that were done with it musically for this year’s anniversary story event (including: the singers performing the lyrics in reversed Japanese syllables, fitting a fictional language used in the game) and how it soars as a culmination of the story and characters it finds itself in. All these tracks and much more are worth rocking out to! 😊

The whole OST has some incredible bangers like "Zero" (which is arguably GBF's own equivalent to AC0's "Zero"); "Existence"; and one of my personal favorites, "Peace & Quiet". Some of the other smaller raid fight BGMs are also great, e.g. Tiamat Magna's, Shiva's. I know you've done a react to Morning Light Hymnus, I really hope you do Paradise Lost and Parade's Lust as well, since the three are centered around the same characters.

If you want to have an epic 12 minutes with ups and downs i can reccomend "zero" (you'll most likely find it alongside the keyword lucillious) That was the final boss of one storyline around an anniversery event that kept evolving each anniversery for 3 or 4 years. Or the ultimate bahamut theme, that one was also extremely epic when the boss was released. And as a bonus, both have lyrics.

Due to GBF game structure, bosses are divided into series. Music is good all around, but Grimnir is someone we may fight everyday at certain times. That is why I think his theme, and the themes of his series brothers are actually pretty basic. Out of those, Shiva is my favorite. I have something for indian chanting. But peak Granblue is actually in vocal songs given for some special bosses. Belial's (Morning Light Hymnus and Parade's Lust), Beelzebub's (Existence) and Lucifer's (Zero) themes are something special. Zero in special is long, changes between genres and calls back to a older theme, Paradise Lost. It's an absolute favorite. There are many other cool songs on there. In GB Versus, special mixes are given to characters, vocal or not. Zooey (Peacemaker's Wings), Eustace (Peace and Quiet), and Proto Bahamut (Wings of Terror), and many others are very well represented in their themes. Lastly, the main battle theme in mobile has an absolutely crazy rhythm that I'd love to watch you react to it.

YOOO MARCO'S DOING GRANBLUE NOW?! Although you can fight against him, Grimnir is actually a great friend to the protagonist, so I think your initial impression of a duel was pretty much correct--it's like a spar between friends, with a lot of mutual respect and no hard feelings. But Grimnir is basically a god, and your protagonist is just a teenager, so of course it's going to be a difficult fight! I think I've recommended this before, but for more Granblue tracks, you should definitely check out Order of the New World. I think you'd also really enjoy Zero--it's big on that whole "using holiness to symbolize unholiness" thing

I think the Witcher would be right up your alley, and the TF2 soundtrack is pretty unique thanks to the Valve orchestra. If you consider them, I'd probably start with "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" and any of the TF2 songs (some are a bit short, so maybe it'd be better to do those on stream or something.) So many people recommend a lot of song from GBF. But I still say try listening to The Fallen Conquerror. My most favorite battle theme in this game. If you want a song that sounds melancholy. Search "New Utopia".
