May their souls in heaven be treasured . Please understand that Jordanians want peace with Israel to be eternal, we want to be good neighbors and keep our borders safe from terrorists trying to break our bond together. Please understand we are under constant pressure from within, so we need your assistance. I hope you can understand and read between the lines. God bless Jordan and Israel. Great video. We had hoped that Capt. Schiff would be able to repeat this journey as we were unable to participate at the time. Alas, it was not to be. Watching this video reminded me of what a great accomplishment this was. Perhaps personal contact like this can help to secure peace that has been so elusive.

I simply hope that sharing this brings the hope of peace in the Middle East.

I wish all nations at war with others someday realize that we all are one, no matter what religion you are. Religion is personal it have nothing to border your friends or family with. We need unity within ourselves,keep all political and religious problem in your pocket if meeting with our fellow human, am 26 years old

He keeps talking about how Israel and Jordan were such bitter enemies while actually the last war between the countries was in 1967. That's almost 30 years before the peace treaty. Actually, in 1970, during Black September, the Syrians invaded Jordan, and Israel sent its air force to scare the Syrians away, after being requested to do so by the Americans. I think it's more astounding how Americans could peacefully walk in Berlin right after WW2.

I have always liked King Hussein. Hearing his speeches makes me like him more and more. Trustworthy and a real leader.

Excellent video. Thanks to Capt. Schiff for bringing such an historic event to fruition. Peace begins by realizing our common bonds as human beings transcend our religious differences. I miss the old king....even I dont agree in all..but he was not nuts like Assad and Nasser....he didnt like to fight...
