Very Interesting to see. Coming from the south african mining industry making assumptions would've been easy especially when one understands mining regulations in UG shafts. Equally as much if i was asked about the fashion industry my assumptions would be poor. Thank you for the video

Если первая группа уезжает вниз на 2ом лифте в 4:11am, то вторая пара лифтов поднимется на средний уровень за людьми в 4:21am, при этом вторая группа прибудет на спуск только через 1 минуту. Т.е. по идее лифты на среднем уровне ждут следующий батч людей 1 минуту. Лифт ждет следующую группу на спуск или уезжает вниз пустой? Если ждёт, то общее время в пути на цикл будет 11 минут и все доедут к 7:28am. Если лифт не ждёт вторую группу 1 минуту на спуск и уезжает, то следующий лифт прибывает в 4:31 am и уже катает накопившихся людей по 160 человек каждые 10 минут. При этом оставшуюся пачку лифт увозит вниз в 7:11am, НО приедут они только через 10 минут к 7:21am. Почему правильный ответ 7:11? ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

Lifts (cages) counterbalance each other, when one pair goes down, another pair is going up at the same time. So when the first batch of people reaches bottom level (4:21), there will be another pair of cages at the middle level waiting for the second batch.

Second batch will be at the entrance to the second shaft at 4:19 (4:08 start + 8 min first cage + 3 min walk) and therefore wait for 2 min for the cage to arrive
