Dude how do you become a intelligence officer? I’m wanting to go in the air force and I was wanting to be one. I haven’t taken the asvab but I just wanted to ask. I want to do it but I’m a bit scared that I won’t be able to join. Thank you
@@tdog4423 I honestly didn’t go into it with my first choice. It was a second choice pick after I was DQ by the color vision tests. But OPS Intel was something that’s was brought to my attention from my ASVAB score. It was a job I qualified for so I figured what the hay and life honestly better than what I thought it’d be. I got a 58 on the ASVAB. Hope this helps. 🤝
@@BigFootCurt no a 72 on the general category. The afqt score isn’t that. You have your afqt score which is ve ar and mk. Then you have your mage scores. Mechanics knowledge, administrative, general, and electrical. Each category is scored as percentiles meaning you can get up to a 99. To qualify for most intelligence jobs you need a 72 on the general section.
You will be able to hone your speaking skills with practice. If there is a problem when you get to the school house, they may be able to redirect you into another position if it does not fit well
@@erikd560 I’m a year late to your question but you get the polygraph test after tech school at your first duty station. Some bases don’t even require one
