Just booked. Ship 9/17. Look forward to being a PowerPoint ranger. Great points about the finding balance. It took me a while to understand burnout and not forget you aren’t a robot. Take breaks. Enjoy life. You literally Come back stronger. Going in at 32 I with two toddlers myself. I expect to be quite older than most. But I’m looking forward to learning from everyone. And the sleep. I anticipate I’ll be getting more of that than I do now at bootcamp 😂

+1 Subscriber. Your AFSC info site has been amazing. It has made it so much easier to compare jobs & decide which job I wanted. I skim through the job description then jump to possible assignments. Then dissect the rest of the info when a job has met my overseas load. Love the extra podcast speaking with airmen in the job. Thank you for your work

So, from my understanding the deployment tempo will depend on the squadron you support. If you are attached to a more operational squadron then you'd deploy more often. Hope that helps!!!

Color vision knocked me out of a lot of Air Force jobs, but I qualified for all source intel. Problem is I really don’t want to be at a desk all day. However I really want to do something cool and secret like like this. The only two jobs I qualified for that I’m considering is all source intel and rf transmissions systems. Any advise or help deciding from anyone really appreciated

Man, to be honest, both would be good options. Both are marketable on the outside. Both will get you a clearance. RF, you will be outside a lot more. If you're making your list, then I'd put both on there. Hope that helps!
