I'm black and this is why I stay home and wait for these movies on demand. I don't have to hear any comments throughout the movie and can pause it when I want too. Plus I have other ways to watch wink wink
I'm mixed and I agree. I don't enjoy the movies at the theater. Can't remember the last time I went to the movies. 9 times out of 10, there is always that one "group" that ruins it for everyone. Besides, with how nice DVDs, Netflix, and other methods of watching movies are these days, its almost better at home if you have a decent system. Best part, snacks are not $50 at home...........

@@illuminationrecordz7056 I discoverd this show only a year ago, and now, I'm *ADDICTED* to it. I listen to it every day at work. I've been catching up on almost two decades worth of content from this show and I am still in sheer aww at what I missed out on. This was hand's down *THE GREATEST* and most savage radio show that *EVER* existed. Howard Stern had *NOTHING* on these guys.
The same frigging situation happened to me when I saw Aquaman with my ex. Some ladies were freaking out over Jason Mamoa and my EX had to chirp up and tell the ladies to shut their "filthy domincan mouths for the rest of us." Thank God I didn't have to defend anyone's honor but for God's sake. You ladies do put us into situations without realizing it. I empathize with Anthony completely here.
I went on Halloween to watch Halloween H20 in "the ghetto" . It was almost comical how ridiculous people are in movie theaters. Oh. My. God. It was an experience I will _never_ forget.
Anyone remember that movie Underworld, 2003? My wife and I went to see it and basically I could spend the next 20 minutes telling the same story Anthony just told.
It's not that we are scared it's that the federal government has been viciously cracking down on self defense by White people so if you win a fight after telling some fellah to shut up and you do 20 years.
For real man! I caught myself yelling out loud “shut up and let him finish…” Surprised more people weren’t commenting about it and I could tell Anthony was trying to hard to keep his cool and was losing his patience with Opie lmao.
That is when you get up. Go to the lobby. Ask for the white manager. Get your money back. Leave. That is also why i go to early shows cause you know..........Where are they?
I'm a Mainer and whenever I've been at a movie theater, nothing like all that has ever happened. But then, Maine is a predominately white state. Also, I've been at two movie theaters in Philadelphia, and still nothing like that happened there either. In those cases I was just lucky!
Going to the cinema is a total waste of time. I don't know why anyone would go. Why would I subject myself to the situation Ant described (which it ALWAYS is) if I can watch a film in my own house with friends? I don't get it. It's not 1951 anymore.
I’m OK with people talking, because I can easily call them out on it ,it’s when they have an obnoxious laugh for the whole movie, and often it’s not even a comedy we’re watching, I have to be like can you laugh less obnoxiously?
Fun how you can call them animals or savages on XM in 2010? but get fired 5 years later or reacting to an attack by calling ONE INDIVIDUAL a savage animal -- not on the air...but only 5 years later.
I've only had two real Black People! moments in a theater in my life, one was loudness during Alexander (horrible movie) and the other CONTRIBUTED to the film-going experience: Seeing Iron Man at midnight on opening day, when the SLJ stinger with Nick Fury ends, this large black lady in the back goes, "Mmm-mmmm-MMMH!" in praise of the man. Rightly so.
As soon as that hispanic family sat down, it would almost have been a relief. I would know at that point with 100% certainty that I would not enjoy sitting there watching that movie. I would immediately have gotten up and left. I know you spent $20 on movie tickets, but you are not going to make up for it by sitting there for two hours being constantly annoyed. Anthony and his girlfriend should have cut their loses and left.

OK yea there are some people who talk loud as shit and it is really annoying, but it's not always black people or Mexican people. It can be white people too.
