Patrice was so funny that he could turn this conversation with Anthony into a 20 minute joke in his act and would hardly need to rework it. So naturally hilarious, you can't even tell if he's trying to be funny or if he's serious
It's very similar to his William Shatner roast -- which has the same feel, Patrice just sorta nervously stands up and mumbles into "I'm just... I'm just standin up here, and I'm not comfortable... with... all the racism," then goes on to kill. Supposedly this is how he performed when he was "getting used to stand-up comedy," and, as you say, he was a natural at it.
Finally finished Part I: The Beginning and Part II: The Break-Up, and all I can say is that I wish this show was on the air today. 😆 Thank you very much for putting all these clips together!! I can’t imagine how much time it took but just know that there’s at least one random viewer out there that actually laughed out loud from this fantastic compilation of these guys and their ridiculous shenanigans. 😂👍🏻
I couldn't make it through the beginning. Just got boring like "yeah yeah they like each other what's interesting about that" I prob would have like listening if it was live but otherwise I just wanted the good stuff

I remember listening to the sinking of Jill Nicoleaky as it aired on my way to work back in 2008. I pulled over and was late to work just so I could hear the rest of the tea being spilled. Literally, my jaw dropped for like 10 min… I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and I miss when radio was this good! Anthony would prob be canceled if that aired today. Really really miss the O&A golden age.

Opie really couldn’t accept the fact that Anthony just didn’t like him anymore. He gave so many subtle hints that he was butthurt that Anthony didn’t like him or talk to him anymore.
Yeah -- it's less obvious in this breakup collection, but, during the early Antholini dating/relationship weeks, Opie keeps talking about how they're using up all the air time, and how Ant never shows his real feelings -- very passive-aggressive and jilted.
So weird listening to Opie try twice to get Anthony to drink at 7am… he really gives off that “Human Simulator” vibe in a lot of these. Can’t believe I didn’t find them sooner though.

She did rather have it coming, though. Stealing his car and burning the shit is one thing but sending an email around the workplace goes beyond just petty woman shit, that was a step too far. Crazy woman shit is just crazy woman shit, you expect a certain amount of it. But dragging his name through the mud afterwards to people he likely knew personally... You become fair game at that point.
This is better than the two headed girl bit because it gets better and better and Patrice made his argument about relationships best in this one. Everyone was killing the whole time
Now we found out that Anthony's previous girlfriend of 8 years ago he bought her mother new teeth.. he bought her a Porsche.. he bought her sister a new trailer. And then his girlfriend and therapy says she doesn't think she loves him.. well she loved all the money he spent on her!! That's the problem with women you must spend as little money on them as possible.. and do what you want to do live your life for yourself.. Anthony is too nice of a guy that's the problem I used to be that way too and when you're a nice guy you get shit on!
I really hate that "woman scorned" argument. Like women are some kind of rare mystical creatures that aren't allowed to be cheated on or dumped. Its just like excuses made for other groups in which certain behaviors are just accepted as "what they do"
This is actually kind of sad. The dysfunction behind the scenes. It's funny, I've listened to the break up a few times and always thought it was hilarious. But just finished listening to part 1 and this is kind of bumming me out.

There’s always some subtext to this whole situation that I never understood. Anthony was being extremely secretive about something, and never said what. I always felt like there was something that wasn’t said by Jill or Anthony, that would make Anthony look extremely bad
I’ve always theorized that she knew or suspected that Anthony had something really bad on his laptop, and that’s why she did the search in the first place. This was during a time where Anthony was well established as the guy who liked extremely young women. While she was crazy for the fire, there are absolute discrepancies in his store regarding how he handled the fallout. There are strange things that conflict with previous statements and behavior that just never sat right with me. I also noticed some issues in the timeline as Anthony described it. These can be big hunks of nothing… None of this matters now… it’s over 12 years later. But I always thought there was more to this than cheating.

I think Jill knows exactly what her game is , which is why nothing really lasted for her..... So with that I think she quietly respects Anthony's game to literally "punch out" before it had to go severely tits up!!!!!! And Opie is a jealous hole!!!!
