jonpaulevans i wouldn't say hilarious.. I would say listenable. in parts. Also hard to believe they hated each other THAT much, they got together too well on air. Anthony had every right to be angry at opie for all he has done to him and his girlfriend, but instead Opie was the mad one.
I agree, Opie is a lot better with Anthony. Hopefully when Anthony gets his studio in the city they both quit being babies and just have Opie on his show.
Maron getting Obama may have just totally changed the world of listening media as we know it. so yeah...the fan base is there. And let's be honest - do you need to make millions talking on the air or can you just be fine living comfortably.
He doesn't understand melancholy music and confuses it with depressing music. The sleeves song is pure melancholy. Furthermore, Ant loses all credibility as a music critic since he sang one of the douchiest and generic songs I ever heard that his brother wrote /watch?v=2egu0r3qLy0 . I don't know how he has the balls to hate a song sung by a baritone manly voice when ant's singing voice sounds like he lubes his vocal cords up with jimmy's cum.
doughboycod2 mel·an·chol·y [mel-uhn-kol-ee] Show IPA noun, plural mel·an·chol·ies. 1. a gloomy state of mind, especially when habitual or prolonged; depression.
Opie gets a lot of hate. But the reality is... he's an entertaining dude. And without him none of this would exist. There would be no hours and hours of audio featuring Anthony, Patrice, or even little Jimmy. Give credit where credit is due. The Opester is the main man behind all of this. He has his flaws but the guy knows good radio. Not to mention, these guys had THE chemistry.
@@CrackerJack06 I totally agree. His talent was not being hilarious like Ant and little Jimmy but, he was an absolute essential part of the whole thing. The straight man. His problem was that he didn't embrace his lane. He tried to be something he was not and he became resentful toward the comedians. Opie was not a completely unfunny dope. Many times he had me laughing hysterically. It just sucks that the architect of the whole thing gets so much shit. It's not cool.
Does anyone know the clip where they talk about underwear for longer? I think there's one where they talk about how all underwear for guys is marketed towards young guys. Was pretty funny.
The only thing I took away from this video is the movie ad at the beginning.......They're remaking Point Break!!! WTF!!! Hollywood is officially bankrupt of ideas!!! Point Break for Christ sakes!!!!
LyovMyshkin They'll try and appeal to modern audiences by making it dark and gritty and full of lens flare and dumb down the already dumbed down original story. Point Break was good because it was such a stupid idea full of people over acting. Keanu Reeves as an FBI agent?? "Freeze I'm an FBI agent Duuuudeeee!!" Wonder how long it'll be before they decide to remake The Matrix?
+Dave Noneya "Point Break was good because it was such a stupid idea full of people over acting." Yeah, true. That's the thing about our particular time: we're really self conscious, full of irony, snark and pessimism. The 80's - and to a lesser extent the 90's - were, as cliche as it sounds, a more innocent time.
WTF are "jockeys" I tried them on and it felt like I kinda had regular boxers but then the shit's really tight on my legs. Seriously, I don't get it, I didn't buy them because I knew they would annoy the shit out of me and make my legs sweat, yeah great fucking underwear.
You can cover just about all inhabited continents with band and song names. There are the bands America, Europe, and Asia, the Toto masterpiece Africa, etc.
Does Opie call himself "the Opester" BECAUSE he wants people to paralyzed with douche chills, or does he genuinely think that sounds cool? I really hope he doesn't...
OzzyFan87 lol someone can't explain themselves. And just so there's no way you can misinterpret that, someone = you. And I called you out on your nonsense on both occasions. You however haven't really called me out on anything. You just got it wrong.
Lol sorry. I know it's a very unpopular opinion, but in all honesty I only really liked Eric Clapton unplugged. I had a few Cream albums and they were okay. They just weren't amazingly creative and emotional. It wasn't like some Bach or King Crimson before the 80's. Just meh. Don't get me wrong though, they did have some really kick ass tracks. But no albums that were mind blowing fantastic. That's just my opinion though. They were all good musicians, no doubt. But song writing was meh.
+Jason Bay well at least you recognize the musicianship. everyone has their own taste but you cant deny the talent. as you probably know ginger and jack came from jazz roots which is obviously not all that popular to the majority
The first super Group was Emerson Lake and Palmer: Greg Lake for King Crimson Keith Emerson from The NICE Carl Palmer from Crazy World of Arthur Brown Jimi Hendrix would've been in but...well, y'know. Love The Show!!!!
