Jim Breuer talks about his troubles with his neighbor who he must refer to as "pizza man" or "pizza guy" for legal reasons... although he does slip up and say the name Joe at 8:52. (12/3/09, 6/22/10)
I worked at the pizza place in Chester, NJ. It was called GianAngelo’s (no longer there, knocked down). Jim described him perfectly, his personality, his voice, everything. The guy, Joe, was psychotic. He treated me and other employees like absolute garbage. Cut our tips in half, made us do chores like stopping at his house to pick up mail for him. He was very manipulative and dirty but everybody knew what he was really about. Breuer walked into the pizza place one night when I was working and was freaking out and yelling asking where he was (I think he has just stepped out a half hour before that and I don’t remember where he went.) He asked us where he was and we just told him he went out somewhere. The pizza guy made us work this limo service in the area and pick up random Mexicans in Chester and drop them off at random places. He never paid us for it, just made us do it. There are a million other things I could say, but bottom line, the guy was one of the scummiest people I’ve ever known and idk why I put up with it for so long. Breuer told this story perfectly, everything is spot on. I have no idea where the pizza guy is now, think the last time I saw him was 7-8 years ago in Randolph. Good riddance!
If anything you got to witness firsthand a legendary story in the comedy circles, please share any additional stories you may have. We live for this shit lol
Best noise ever in this story..."booooooooo... Hey pizza man, find some land and set up a pizza shop" while to the ships going past the Statue of Liberty lol, this needs to be animated.
I live about 15 minutes away from Chester, where Breuer lives. I remember hearing about Pizza Man a few years ago, it was a pretty big story when it was happening. I always thought that it was an urban legend, but thanks to Breuer, I know it's legit.
I listen to this all the way through at least a few times a year-- I never get over annoying over-explaining Opie. "HE PROBABLY THINKS THE MOVIE UP IS ABOUT DRUGS." Nice contribution, Op.
dude's name is Guiseppe "Joe" Ionfrida, pizza place is called Giangelo's Pizzeria and Restaurant.. evidently he retired in late 2009 citing health issues
I hunted down the stalking arrest details for Pizza Man. Most hilarious thing is that Pizza guy called police....said Breuer threatened his life in a note and produced the note. Jim's name in Jim's signature was spelled incorrectly. LOFL. Hopefully they pinned a false report charge on him too..
Re listening to this years later... from the area, “pizza guy” and my dad were acquitted, and we liked his pizza, but one time (this is when I was a kid like 11 YO) I went to sorentos, another pizza joint in town, and he was driving by and saw us eating there and walked in the store and yelled at us saying we betrayed him by eating at another pizza place. Crazy guy
Ya know, with this story, and the Pizza Hut Commercial where he got into a fight with the Pizza Prop Man, I now know that Jim Breuer is the Doom Slayer to all Pizza Guys😎😂🤣🤣!!!
This would make a funny animated short. All done in Breuer's narrative. The pizza guy can be played by (from my count) 4 different Al Pacino characters in 6 different accents. Fuckin Breuer...
@@AndrewBarskyit's obsessive and weird, I and many others don't find it mentally stable behavior, hyper fixation on the one they are trying to ignore. Irony
I used to live around the block from Breuer in Chester at my mom's house. Opie isn't kidding about the deer. There'd be like 40 just hanging out in the backyard at like 3 in the morning.
LOL holy shit, I never heard this before. Jim Breuer is crazy!! This guy screwed with him and then Jim proceeded to destroy his entire life piece by piece hahaha omg
Opie it's been a while can you please cut in and tell us about the neighborhood again? Wow yeah we get it you have been there that's just his way of name dropping
