@@AndrewBarsky it's got some really good melodic lines in it. I think it's great. Bland rock to me is when the melody just rearranges the notes of "Mary Had A Little Lamb", which seems to the standard for melody in a typical pop/rock song these days.

Every few months I search out this song. Now it actually kind of stings, as my fiance of 7 years, two months after buying a house together, decided to take the ring off (yes, she is a top tier bee-yatch who was banking on a married man at her job actually leaving his wife to move into the house WE bought together - this was her plan. Nice, huh. I should have listened to my friends and family). Then 3 weeks ago my dad dies. So Gorms usually makes me laugh, but all I can think is that, if someone sat down and played this song at a piano, it actually might hit ya in the feels bone. If only I could blast off to that moonbase with Gorms.

@BP it could definitely use some actual instrumentation and better mixing, but still the chord progression is boring and generic, synths sound cheesy as hell, and overall just antiquated

LuneyTune72 jimmy kinda talks over him but you can hear opie say "that horrible video has over 2 millio- ugh oh gah, ufff ..." and there have been many occasions where opie has dreamed of going viral, even though he's a millionaire with a job most people would love to have. i focus on this cause i'm a total nerd who over analyzes all media i watch / listen to
I find it a little funny how at that one point Gormley is standing in an image of a beach while the girl is on a real beach. How come she's on a real beach but he's in a stock image of a beach?
I like the song, but I'm in a predicament. I want to say the video is bad, but it is not. It did the job of keeping my attention better than most new music videos I've seen. I couldn't stop watching, although for different reasons, it was entertaining none the less. Nice song AND video :)
She’s definitely abover “average” as these guys so eloquently put it, in their attempts at humor. The majority of girls in The US are overweight-obese and look like they just don’t take very good care of themselves.
