I used to get a lot of shit from Opie fans when I criticized him - their stock answer being 'Opie steers the boat'. But there are so many examples of Opie steering the boat on to the rocks that it seems even the hardcore Opie fans have had to accept that he wasn't even good at that.

Lol, I know we're in the middle of Jimmy telling truly interesting and hilarious stories but I think it would be a good idea to completely derail this segment and talk about some unfunny cunt again so I can act like I understand comedy even though I'm just repeating things I've heard legitimately funny people saying.
I was in aviation and was warned of a prank that was being pulled in the bath rooms. You know the hand dryers that you pressed the button and blew strong hot air? These rotated and people would turn them so the outlet was faced up and then pour piss into it. When the next poor sob came in and hit the button the dryer would blow hot piss all into the air.
Since Jim is obsessed with all things shit, here is the worst prank again aviation related. The Northern douches usually pulled it on us southern guys. The older airliners had a shit tank aka the blue water which stored onboard bathroom waste. At the base of the tank was a valve which led to a long pipe accessible on the outer side of the jet. Procedure was to pull up the lav cart, open the cap,hook up the tube, then pull the handle which opened the tank valve thus draining down into the cart. These guys would pull up, open the valve thus filling the long tube with gallons of shit/piss/and the strong blue juice as its known. But aha..., they never emptied it, just pretended and left the cap secured. So the next poor bastard that pulled up and opened the cap was doused in what looks like a beer funnel speed rush of airline food shits, piss,condoms, toilet paper, all all brightly colored blue. It was called Shit Smurfing.

I spit up my drink when he started talking about the couch. I try to cut Opie slack but this clip is amazing because he tries to derail the story once but it's too funny and Jimmy keeps going so then he has to do it again a few minutes later.
