same thoughts. Upon seeing the Huawei's and Samsung's foldable phone, I felt that they are kinda forced. Not really a finished product. But this oppo foldable is like finished product and really looks like durable. I watched mr whosethebose video about this. He also made review about this. U should check it out.

@@blueblazerable finished product ? IP rating dude . This type of a hinge design is not new but its main issue is that it much harder to seal it as the Screen is expected to move inside the frame,

@@manjunath414 in a world full of screen protectors and phone case, ip rating is just a bonus. People are now taking extra care on their phones. Im not saying that we should demand less. What im saying is, IP rating is just a plus, not really a necessity. I would prefer this over Huawei’s and Samsung’s tacky design.

@@blueblazerable i feel people are taking IP rating for granted , It wont be a necessity till your phone gets a bit of moisture and the company flat out refuses to support your case. Though On design part , Donno Kinda biased due to owning a fold3 , I feel the Find N is quite small to feel like i am getting more screen on unfolding ,

I never really thought much about the little fold before. But it's a good point. Maybe it would work well. I'd really have to try one out for a little while to see how well the folded over form handled things like texting. I guess I'm wondering if the keyboard is ok to use when folded. Maybe it is fine.

Marques haven't said about it, but left side is curved and the right side isn't, which is horrible imo. You can watch mrwhosetheboss video on it.

I'd like to see a stylus though. And personally I'd like it to be a finger taller. Not as tall as the fold something in between. PS ice universe was insisting there's no crease. Guess he was wrong.

Is inside and outside displays both 120hz?

Absolutely. It makes sense that it would be iPhone Mini sized when folded. Easier to use on the go. It makes sense. And tablet for everything else.

Nah not true. It depends on the person when it comes to usability and I have no problems using my Fold 3

The only complaint I have for the Fold 3 is that I wish the outer screen was wider, it only looks tall because its narrow, next to my old note 9 and my dads note 20, the fold is a tiny bit shorter then them.

I got mine about a month ago. I dunno about you, but I don't think I could go back to a slab. I was worried about durability, but not anymore. This one is solid. It feels like getting my first smartphone all over again.

@@ajspice I have broke my outer display, it's not bad, just the corner. I took it out of the case, and left the house and dropped it on pavement, so it was my fault.

but how about the aspect ratio when watching videos, the black spaces is not filled up and feels annoying right? thats y i didnt like it and i returned

Honestly I don't like the foldable trend at all. The reliability is just not nearly as good as old school.

@Joe oneUI is pretty decent IMO, when i got the s7 and then the s9 I was like meh samsung skin is ok, but when the update came with oneUI with pie the phone felt 3x more intuitive ! not always polished but the feature set still is 2 yrs before stock android

Apparently when apps open on the inner display they auto rotate anyway so you still have to turn it. Linus Tech Tips covered that in his video today.

​@@Astracruiserhenry it still has hiccups , I pre-ordered the F3 and have been using it since it came out, Front screen is kinda thin (would love it if the increase its thickness just 2mm, which I use a lot, rear screen is nice, the phone kinda gets mild to hot but I thought Samsung fixed this issue My pros and cons: 1. Pen works great, I love to sketch, and man it's nice 2. snap doesn't work well, my vids and pics have black bars in them, in both front and rear ( makes my video suck to look at with any other phone) 3. some app optimization is required, sometimes the apps get way too huge that I wish I can zoom out a bit (like 80% instead of 100% cause I wanna see more information and not huge thumbnails) 4. EXPENSIVE 5. when sketching u must be careful not to damage the screen cause its expensive 6. Sometimes when doing detail sketching I must move the canvas out of the middle portion cause it will jiggle the line cause of the folding screen dent thingy that's it , it's surely not for everyone but man, so hard to buy a regular non-folding phone after this, soon competition will be upon us and I bet all of these kinks will disappear so many cons but it fits my needs and I love it (big screen,pen)

In fact I kinda like the Huawei approach that has a nice slimmer on one side and thicker on the other look.. but it is super expensive and nothing better than what is out today without any Google services no way.

I never like any Samsung and Apple they're like 2 children fighting each other. Give me Sony, Lenovo, LG, Oppo/Vivo/OnePlus, etc where pro means pro not just gimmick fake "pro".

I actually prefer samsungs approach. Its clear that this is made for someone who is going to primarily use it as a normal phone with a gimick, like the flip 3

When Oppo's experimental Find N went successful at Chinese market then expect Oppo to get global with Find N 2 with cooler features and more reliable.

I have the latest iPhone which I can easily buy if I accidentally break it, but I’m still going to try and be careful with my things. It’s about being smart about your spending regardless of how much you make. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean that you should do it. I agree with Emma that this smaller foldable phone makes way more sense than Samsung’s offering.

@@arshik9556 its just for people who want a normal phone with a gimick. I use the large screen on my fold 3 way more then i ever thought i would, and its great. Also in general, the tech with the fold is better, the software is better and the optimization is better. Also this is a china only release.

This might fold flat, but the whole device is notably thicker than Samsung's Folds... That's how they were able to make it flush, make the ENTIRE thing thicker.

Zflip 3 is just a big phone that folds. It's not a compact phone.

@Paul Nah Samsung's foldables are definitely very solid and durable. Also idk if you watched the video but even MKBHD said that the crease is about the same on both devices but it's unnoticeable when viewing content.

16:9 is ideal for watching videos. That should be the aspect ratio on the larger screen. The smaller screen could be close to 3:4 for taking pictures.

I really wanted to like the Fold 3, but it was just too tall and skinny for me. Opened up it was just fine, but closed it was difficult to put in my front pocket without feeling like I was going to break it when I sat down.
