On January 18, Amy Schumer joined Oprah on stage in Charlotte, N.C. Check out their honest conversation on parenthood, autism, IVF, and more in the full transcript here: www.weightwatchers.com/us/amb...
I have almost nothing in common with Amy, I'm not a woman or a mom or a comedian, but she really inspires even outside her demographic to be your honest and truest self and I really praise her for that🙌
This interview was hilarious. I appreciate Amy for her realness. I honestly do. Was skeptical at first when I saw she'd be the special guest but im glad I didn't miss it. The entire experience was amazing.
The chemistry between this two is amazing, Amy is so unapologetically herself and even tho they are pretty different ladies, they really get along amazingly and is so entertaining to see them talk about such real and important topics
My BEST and standard advice for pregnant and new moms/parenting has always been this: "Don't listen to everyone else's advice because it will make you insane. Follow your instinct and if your baby/child is having a freak out tantrum day, then sit on the floor with them and cry too." #Truth
KempireRadio yeah, kinda nutso...my sis in law did the same thing 3 times and I’ll never understand it. There’s literally no reason to have a child for the next 1-2 decades anyway so it’s so unnecessary to even have these issues. 😂🤷🏻♀️ No one should feel sorry for any of us lol
@JDMime danger of what? I did IUI, IVF/ICSI etc. The pregnancy is the least of the concern. You just dont transfer back more then 1 or 2 embryos depending. A responsible dr wont transfer more then that back
I did the infertility treatment and yeah it sucks. My ex wouldnt adopt or allow a surrogate so that was my only option to be a mom. Years later, i conceived 2 kids and was put on bedrest for the entire pregnancies. I was SO sick just like Amy plus I had kidney stones. Yuck. I also have/had endo too but a couple years ago i had a complete hysto by choice. After my 2nd i didnt want to be pregnant ever again. I wonder if Amy and her hubby are planning on a surrogate. If that was an option for me I would have done that without question :)
This is my introduction to Amy Schumer. I LOVE HER!!! I just got diagnosed with Autism a few months ago at 40. IT IS REAL women's health is severely neglected including autism traits in women are completely different then men! Why are we not studying women exclusively when studying health issues? Thanks for bringing light to this!
I love she came in sweats. It seems more honest to me. It's always something off when people look all put together and then talk how messed up they feel. I love this. Thank you Amy, you are so honest it helps to liberate me.
I cried so hard when I was told I needed a C-section. I totally felt like I failed even though my daughter was breech. After they pulled my daughter out, I didn't feel like I failed at all. She was everything I could have ever wanted and you know....our kids all end up wanting chicken nuggets and mac and cheese whether or not they were born c-section or natural.
The fact that women feel like they failed because they NEED to undergo MAJOR surgery to SAVE their child's life proves how fucking messed up we are BECAUSE of our awful society
I know what you mean. My 1st daughter was breech as well and I too had a C-Section. My second daughter was delivered by natural birth and you are so RIGHT, they both eat chicken nuggets and mac n cheese the same. LOL We women are so hard on ourselves. That second child took her sweet time coming out (18 hrs of back labor). WISH she had been a c-section. HA
I had all 4 of mine via c-section. Never felt badly about it at all. I have a male shaped pelvis (think kidney bean) so no baby could ever engage. My kids are now 31, 28, 20, & 14.
I have two boys on the spectrum. One severe and non verbal and one high function. Amy I love you for bringing me hope that someone will love them as much as you love your husband 😍
João Queiroz you need to listen to her podcast “3 girls 1 Keith” it’s hilarious, great guests and her co-hosts are all so funny!!! They’ve got 4 seasons out now on Spotify ❤️
@Austin Porn I dooooo!! Love it!!! I’m finishing season 3! But it’s missing something because I really love her body comedy you know? But it’s better than nothing. Love her book too!
@@austinporn7905 you should! :) I have it, it's incredible, it has very personal parts but also it's amazing how she can make you really laugh out loud just with writing! so sad that she has so many haters, I really dont get why..
Please preach about the endometriosis, I think your great! I have stage four endometriosis, and it got so severe bc no one listened to me, being a women I was a “baby” well now I can not have a baby and In horrible pain everyday so please raise awareness I am trying.
This was a great interview. Amy is such an entertaining and engaging person, so easy to listen to. She's hilarious, smart - and REAL. Really like her. Great woman!
i just want to bask in this comment section. i've always been a fan of schumer but especially after she did her show and i felt she was so smart, and had great points to make. if you go to any regular video of her, just stand up wise, theres tons of men, and women tbh, hating on her. they claim it's because she 'steals jokes,' but if you knew anything about comedy and stand up, you could see that most of those were parallel thinking. i truly think it's more about the fact she's a strong feminist that is overtly sexual. no one bats an eye at men that make tons of penis jokes or sex jokes but if a woman does it it's 'all she talks about.' i just love that all the comments can see her greatness.
@@MarcosIsABaritone 110%!! if she was a male comic, none of this hate would even happen. i watched it happen with sarah silverman as well, if you went back 10 years or so and looked at a video w/ her all the comments are the same. now that's she's broken thru and done some political stuff and some disney stuff, she's gained a bigger audience and everyone thinks she's a genius now-a-days. but she got the same kind of hate Schumer does, how dare an attractive female go on stage and talk about sex so openly?! i'm honestly surprised that people like Nikki Glaser don't get the same kind of hate. honestly think it's because she's meets more of societies beauty standards.
@@doublefeature Yes. Also, Nikki Glaser, with her deserved success has not experienced the seemingly meteoric rise in exposure and pedestal for reigning female comic that Amy experienced for those three years. Amy made the mistake of SUCCESS and being a "star." The patriarchy could not abide that. So sad and pathetic.
Amy is so hilarious! Been watching the tour since Gaga and I must say the experience gets more beautiful with each guest. Thank you Oprah and WW for this wonderful experience. Sending my love all the way from Mzansi (South Africa)❤💗
masego letsoko Yes, it was simply an amazing day! Oprah has always been my inspiration! ❤️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G5ooCIsenRc.html
The Oprah show ending was a good move because she could only afford to fill a handful of people in the interview room. But NOW a lot of people have the privilege of being in the same room (arena) with her while she is conducting these live interviews.
This video is the blessing 💝I didn't know I needed!!! 😏It just showed up & I clicked on it & now I feel better in the skin I'm in... I always liked Amy but now I have a deep respect & appreciation for her.... but I'm already biased bcuz I have a beautiful son on the Autism spectrum & what a relief to see her husband being successful as an adult... I feel like some of the behaviors in the spectrum are so useful... like I thought when my son got to Jr. High School he would pick up bad habits from other kids but he never did & sometimes he is never afraid of trying something new.... thank you Oprah for doing a great interview & thank you Amy for showing your true self... & Many Blessings to all 😙
I loved how real Amy is and the interview was lovely. That being said I was staring at OPRAH the whole time like a stalker :))) I mean she has amazing eyebrows, absolutely loved the shade of the lipstick ( I wish I would know which one it is), the color of the glasses, the makeup and what she was wearing, every little detail was just perfect. Awesome makeup and stylist!!
Amy Schumer is True to herself Stylist: So what do you want to wear to meet Oprah? Amy Schumer: Uhm..... Stylist: We have these outfits for you, its the 2020 Vision Tour! with Oprah! Oprah Winfrey! Amy Schumer: Uhm... I just wanna be comfortable!? Stylist: Say no more!
Just love her!! Can so much relate with her regarding pregnancy, we get so many advices, I m also giving formula to my baby n there r thousands of ppl who feel pity on me. This interview is so relatable I love you Amy✌️✌️✌️
Amy has always been a little silly for me, but I enjoyed this conversation so much. Amy, you are so refreshing and such a joy! Oprah, I am LOVING these 2020 series!!!
I love everything about this interview and those chairs! Oprah looks so pretty and put together and it's great how comfortable Amy is and it reminds me of Jordan Peele meeting President Obama in a flannel. 😄
RatTaxi Yes, it was so wonderful seeing them together! Amy was delightful and Oprah has always been my inspiration! ❤️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G5ooCIsenRc.html
I relate with you Amy. I got too much pressure and i thought i should push my 2nd born 3 years after my first borns cs. Self inflicted for sure. I should make choices that are healthy both for me n my baby. Not to look good in peoples eyes.
I love Amy, she is so real and hilarious and comfortable in her own skin. She vibes so well with Oprah too, never have seen them together before but they’re such a good match conversationally wise.
If guys ever wondered what best girlfriends (forever) talk about ... when no one else can know/hear ... Amy Schumer is the "it" girl! This was an AWESOME interview as well!
I fully understand what she went through, I also had ivf/icsi 2-3 times and finally had my son nearly 11 years ago... it’s brutal and no one tell you this so thankyou for being so honest!! Sending lots of love to Amy 💕💋
I love Amy! She's one of the funniest and most genuine women! She's hilarious! I love she and her husband and they adore their son. They aren't into the game either. Just real. Love that!
