"Why these things are not being taught in the schools and colleges?" "Because they are industries." Mighty thanks to people like Dr. Stoll and channels like this for availing media for disseminating such relevant and profound content. Thank you so much!

Agreed, he's a great speaker and I am looking up his videos. I listen to the doctors, as you might, to get motivation to continue. I'm not on the fence about quitting or anything but I like to keep my desire strong.

Dr. Stoll is really an excellent communicator imho and has an intellect and memory on par with Dr. John Mcdougall. I just bought some premium whole wheat flour and I make bread on a regular basis, but I also eat whole wheat pasta and black beans. I'm healthy with WFPB but need more exercise and less salt. A couple simple habits are helping me build leg strength and eat the healthiest I can eat.

As vegan, I am the youngest to even run and finish an international mountain ultra marathon race at my country. Even after I have ran 50km without even having breakfast. I also hold 4 national fitness records in Costa Rica, all as vegan. I now own an academy, and my best students are always vegans. They progress over 300% better than the average nonvegan.

That is wonderful! Do you know Jack Albritton who is has a raw vegan channel? He spent time in Costa Rica and says wonderful things about the fruit. Fruit is very important for people who want to mostly or totally raw.

Fabulous presentations. I particularly loved how so many issues, from the very large to the very small, were looked at, at least from an "overview" perspective. Thank you so much for the clarity and vision!!!!

Dr. Stoll presents a thought provoking overview of why good diet for each of us also brings benefits to our environment and planet. My only disagreement is that antibiotics are used in cattle more to increase weight gain faster and increase profits than for disease control. We should restrict such broad antibiotic use as Europe does.

I believe that instead of telomeres being made longer, their degradation, or shortening, occurs more slowly in people who eat nuts (or other, related foods). It is a minor criticism of an otherwise awesome presentation.

I guess all the vegans in the audience were too tired and malnurished to applaud. This guy is poorly researched, probably deliberately so he could build the strawmen to support his misinformation.
@someguy2135
@someguy2135 5 лет назад
Get your ears checked. I heard enthusiastic applause at the end. Google "vegan athletes" and see a long list that includes world class performers. You didn't watch the video, or you would have seen a reference to successful vegan ultra endurance athletes. Your Google search will also show successful body builders and weight lifters.
@babajaiy8246
@babajaiy8246 5 лет назад
@@someguy2135 But the video doesn't show the unsuccessful vegan athletes and if you google you will find unsuccessful vegans - let alone body builder/weight lifters. Meaning vegans who had to return to meat because their specific constitutions are not meant to live without meat - i.e. Their health suffered because of a vegan diet. You may want to study Ayurveda to learn about basic body types and you will see how some need much exercise( and hence can do well in athletic activities) and light diets, while others don't do well with light diets and need to keep their physical activities to a minimum. Vegan across the board lifestyle is a poor choice. I will continue with this video at another time but had to stop at the speakers first cherry picking sourced data - hence one of the reasons why Frank is right about building a 'strawman'. A hunter/gatherer only successful 1 out of 19 times? That is pure nonsense. Maybe you should read any of a number of Tom Brown books that includes references to 'Grandfather'. As such you will see the likely hood that hunter/gatherers were successful the opposite of what the speaker is saying - 18 out of 19 would be the more accurate figure. That's the reason I stopped. I know there is much more cherry picking going on in this video, and I don't have time at the moment to show why that is so. Perhaps later when I am ready to right more. I'll go out on a limb and make a prediction that this author probably talks about unhealthy factory farmed and processed meats too, as to mean meats in general are bad - all the while ignoring that the two are separate i.e. meat vs how it is acquired as if the only option is none whatsoever instead of just changing the means.

@someguy2135
@someguy2135 5 лет назад
@@babajaiy8246 The fact that some people fail to make a vegan diet work does not reflect on the diet. It reflects on them. There are some with genetic problems, but they are the exceptions. Sounds like we agree that factory farmed and processed meat should be avoided. That would be good. Evolving to a plant based diet for humankind would be even better for the planet, other sentient animals, and (for most people) each individual's health.
