I always LOVE Brian going down the rabbit hole with certain routes or situations, squeezing every last drop of the sauce, and explaining why, down to the frames, the route is as awesome as it is. I have no clue how well these types of videos do for the algorithm, but I hope to see more of them.

Bro say what you will about this being only for fun and demostration purposes only, but I assure 100% the knowlegde you get about timing, frame killing, spacing, different combo routes and different character interactions (to name a few) does matter on a high level tournament. We are talking world class players where that margial 2-3% advantage can truly make a difference. Also I love seeing Brian nerding out on these things.

Before playing with fighting games, i came from DMC and dude you just said everything in this video! I love have these especific cenario combos - even when you just can use or see it labing only. Its part of the magic trying new stuff and see how it works I spent so much time in DMC just playing combos, and i rlly love when a fighting game does the same to the player. It just give you all the tools, now its your turn to play and create with that

I love when I’m playing a JP, and they hit me with this shit, I wait 14 seconds to hit the ground after a 27 hit combo, then wake-up CA them with Gief like the brain dead Gief player I am, and do 6000 damage and rob them. This game is weird.

As a JP simp -I mean main, this had me zoned tf in. Im barely into frame perfect combos tho, and this shit is like 12 layers of perfect frame, movement, and opponent response in but I am HOOKED

this is definitely the “sako rufus loops” of sf6. just a completely unnecessarily hard combo that will never be pulled off in an actual tournament match but is just so cool to see that it IS possible

Now I fully understand why Brian went from Oro to JP, They both have the MOST secret sauce that give more rewards the harder you dive in!

Heads up: That safe jump @ 3:40 and 9:50 loses to wake-up 5F Reversals invincible to airborne attacks. Since it's hitting on 2nd last active, it's only a +41 KD. Which is only safe against OD Reversals (they're 6F at fastest, not counting Lily's while enhanced which is only 4F and not safe jump-able). You need +42 to be safe against 5F Reversals. 5F Specials: Ryu, Ken, Luke, Cammy, Chun, Guile, Juri 5F Supers: Ryu SA3, Luke SA2 But the safe jump setup in the Twitter clip @ 5:00 is +42 KD so it's legit. P.S: This video was fun to watch. Mostly because this is what I do every day I do FAT labbing. I was already pausing the video before you mentioned the total frames of your framekills to come to my own conclusion what would be a better framekill for this setup. Glad to see people using the great tools SF6 gives you to lab things properly. Also while I agree with your point @ 14:20 - The problem here is that this isn't how the game works across the cast. JP is EXTREMELY privileged when it comes to his juggle values. As in they're set to unlimited on a lot of his moves. Most characters in this game can never hope to do anything nearly as cool as this when it comes to their juggle routes, because the game LIMITS them from ever being able to do anything like this. I'm a Jamie main and sure, he already has a lot of cool combos and juggles he can lab, but he could do SO MUCH MORE cool stuff if the game just allowed him to actually do so. That is a privilege only JP has when it comes to the juggle system. And maybe Blanka too. It would be cool if the rest of the cast got some more love in this manner.

100% this is the type of sick combo expression and nuance and difficulty that is GOOD, amazing even. And legitimately deserves the huge damage it achieves. rewarding knowledge and high skill is good. baby DJ or luke combos that do the same dam are the lame combos. JP hype!

No joke I came up with this 50% lily combo thats like 8 hits but its so specific and rare it took me over an hour to figure out fully lol

In the future top player will have a squad of lab monsters to do the labbing for them.

If i worked at capcom i'd give in to the urge to give the entire cast insane juggles and just let people have fun with it. One of my favorite feelings in fighting games is seeing new combo that i didnt know was possible, and nerdy optimization like this is fun as hell. I mean, has anyone ever seen sick shit like this and said "man i wish that was way lamer and shorter"?

Stuff like this is why I normally play air-dashers more frequently. They generally tend to have combo systems that allow for most characters to have highly specific combos like this, sometimes they are even usable in real matches.

I know you was in the lab typhoo but one thing to note brine is that you was in the beginning of burnout at the start of the combo in the original clip so the safe fuzzy overhead might not be as plus due to you not having access to OD. Still a cool setup 3:23

There's something kinda weird where there's a particular type of zoner that, under certain circumstances, becomes a combo monster (eg Oro, JP, Ash Crimson) and that seems to be the kind of character that Brian likes. He can do the careful zoning for neutral, but he's always looking for a chance to show the results of his niche labbing. I love seeing this sort of circumstantial labbing, and want to see how far various rabbit holes go.
