haha I had the same problem with ken, I thought his jinrai kicks are rekkas and I kept gettin level 2 and gettin mad ...... turns out rekkas are now just forward + whatever continuation you want. I think it's pretty smart, rekkas were never really something that should be execution heavy imo think about fei long having to do QCF motions, but abel just mashes f+ punches, kinda lame tbh

what's funny is that Jamie's HP will actually do an armor break. I think his level 4 punch rekka will also break armor I'm not too sure.

It's not random if you can reasonably expect them to push their pressure or take their turn on an exchange. Wakeup Level 3 works if my opponent constantly tries to pressure me and not respect the option or counter it.

DI isn’t invincible. Just has armor. Looks like it was during the active frames of DI so no more armor. And DP is invincible so the DI didn’t hit Jaime.

I must say... hitbox was kinda cheap, so many tech only worked on it, modern is cool tho, sacrificing moveset and damage for easier reaction is a fair trade

@@jorge4572 that’s not true though, there was no hitbox exclusive tech. there were things you could do faster on hitbox, but it had no exclusivity. Also, the faster inputs work on pad too

man is jamie just not very good or is it just me? feels like the character is very conditioned especially because he has to drink to get his shit started, no other character in the beta was conditioned like that, plus his combos feel weak, idk maybe its just me

Nah he's fine if you drink after every opportunity once he gets going at l4 his damage is very high. Play patiently till 4 drinks then party.

@@TheDani305 but thats the problem, i dont think you realize that at higher lvl you need to drink after getting a knockdown cause no one is going to let you drink otherwise, you get conditioned in doing combos because you have to stock up on drinks and you have to play very patiently sometimes, by the time you get lvl4 the opponnents already half health or even less, other characters dont have to do that, they can just start partying from the start

Well after dash palm you get a drink after sweep target combo you get a drink, after lvl 1 you can drink, after ex dash palm you can get two drinks in a row. I just don’t think people are actually using all their opportunities yet, understandably so.
