it won't, they wil turn Texas blue guaranteed. These tech people are like AIDS, it's an infection that will spread. They are liberal loonies that NEVER learn.
Exactly. Almost like when parasitic worms drain the life blood out of an animal(ie California) then jump on another healthy animal(ie Texas)...looking to drain the life blood out of that one next...
You continue to miss the point . take oracle as an example. Its owners want to do things to make more money. They are a few. Its workers want to make more money. They are the many. That would be less money for the owners. Theres the political divide between repubs and dems. Repubs represent the owner class and dont have the majority vote over all.
Highest GDP in the US is not exactly an "Economic Wasteland". Oracle is leaving because they are no longer innovative. They do not have what it takes to compete against the new Database/NoSQL and Cloud/SaaS technology companies and will live off of existing customer base renewals and suing for questionable patent infringements.
@@zekiyasar568 ok fair point... however they take a lot of the $$$ with them when they leave so what happens to Florida after Oracle leaves(it will be worse off then it is now) because it will still have the higher tax burden for infrastructure, laws, policies and services created but no workers paying taxes(cuz they left with the company and no business tax's from Oracle) I guess the point I was trying to make is that I get tired of these moralistic blue states ramping up the cost of everything and now that its gotten too expensive they are gonna dump the responsibilities they've created as the move to a place like Texas for lower costs and ultimately bringing the same policies with them(it didn't work for ya the first time so why are you doing it again) and maybe they won't the 2nd time around but I kind of doubt it.
@@gregwilkinson8127 "so what happens to Florida after Oracle leaves" I think Florida will be fine since Oracle's HQ is moving from CA to TX. And there are plenty of emerging companies to take their place in CA that will continue to eat into Oracle's market opportunities and profits. TX on the other hand will become more Blue so good luck to the folks that do not like Blue ideology.
@@DaIeDenton I realize that you can't actually "force" a company to stay somewhere... its the principle of the matter, company A goes to a place, lobbies the local and federal government for stuff(special tax law's, social policies, etc...) these programs come at a cost, now the place is having financial issues so company A up's and leaves to some other place with lower wages and taxes, which IMO is a problem, cuz they will drag their same beliefs with them to the new location they go but their beliefs were what caused fiscal issues in the first place.... so this creates 2 issues IMO first they will try to change the policies in the new location which will accomplish the same results as they had achieved in the old place and second they are then dumping problems on the local community when they leave which will have to be addressed in some way(could be job losses, could be social services start to disappear, other supporting companies go out of business, maintenance is decreased) I mean its hard to pin down exactly how things play out so its hypothetical speculation on my part.
Yeah, they are probably voting in Georgia but are wrecking Georgia and then will move on to wreck another state. I want to move to either Tennessee or NC but I am an old life long conservative voter with old life long conservative thinking. I live in a blue state.

I intend to! I grew up here and I remember in the 90’s it wasn’t the best but their was some prosperity, but as I grew older I realized it was slowly dying and becoming more and more impossible to pursue the American Dream! I know plenty of women who live here who love socialism but are incapable of connecting the dots that it is the cause of high taxes, overpriced housing, high cost of living! Now don’t get me wrong theirs plenty of men here who believe that socialism crap too, but their more capable of planting a seed of doubt of their beliefs! I intend to live in Florida hopefully soon! I just need more money! I fear even after these rushed vaccines the governor and plenty of mayors and city officials will continue with the lockdowns! I don’t think it has an even decent future ahead of it! California is already an economic wasteland and sadly theirs little to no hope it will get better! There’s very few movements heading towards turning things around, and we can’t even get a million of us to sign to recall Gavin Newsom! It’s sad really!!!
@@mr.anderson1454 the term capitalism is from the left, hard working, not coveting others' belongings using government power is the cure, why not share how socialism has benefited you and in what ways? Instead of trying to silence others' opinions like the left always do?
I’m a republican, trump voting Californian, and as someone who’s on the inside. These people’s stupidity knows no limits. They WILL turn Texas blue. Please take up arms and protect your land. This was a warning, I don’t want the rest of the country to fall.
I remember the polls were saying that Biden was going to win Texas, and all that, the day that Biden wins Texas, is the day Trump wins California. I would rather Trump win California, it has more electoral votes than Texas.
@@aea8753 talk to them, they're too stupid to realize their policies are what made the mess. They just think the wrong Democrats implemented them or that Republicans screwed it up.

@@mr.anderson1454 It's not capitalism that's killing California, it's the shift left that is. 25 years ago California was a wonderful place. When the state government went left to the point where they had a super majority, the place just went into the toilet. Corporations make jobs and small businesses thrive around them. When they all go away, there will be nothing left. If it wasn't for capitalism, you wouldn't have the iPhone, smart TVs, Amazon, Starbucks, etc... How evil it is to have such stuff and a choice to choose which one you want.
@Hermaphrodeity oh its a real long list of reasons why California sucks. But its all capitalism. free market capitalism hasn't been around anywhere in the USA for around a century. now we are in late stage capitalism aka monopoly capitalism. anti capitalist philosophers predicted this stage of capitalism long before it occurred.
@@tomjens2046 Because they bring employees who want safe places for their families. They are used to sending their kids to schools that have active shooter drills. Too much potential in Texas for mass shooter in schools, synagogues, churches, and temples. Heck, texas recently had mass shooter in a Walmart.
@My Dude Doesnt matter. The New Texans are not gonna feel comfortable with classic Texan gun fetish. They will use their money to lobby against guns. And after that they will outlaw those beauty pageants for 10 year old girls that Texans love.
@My Dude The Californians will be the new Texas. And the governor will be Mexican. And the Senator will be transgender and the other senator will be Jewish.

I moved out of California to Texas in 2004 and it's the best thing I''ve ever done! My family and I lived in a 2-bedroom 1000sqft condo that was worth $500,000 back then. We moved to a suburb outside of Dallas and bought a 4000 sqft mansion by the lake with 1 acre of land with over 30 mature trees, zip line, huge playground for the kids, access to forest trails etc for $280,000 !.I can also tell you from experience that he schools here are way better, the medical facilities are top of the line and people are super friendly. With no state income tax my take home pay has gone up significantly and my stress level has gone down with so much less traffic and open green spaces. California is nice to visit to go to the beach or see attractions like Disneyland but living there is a total nightmare at this point unless you're very wealthy and don't mind the high taxes, crazy traffic, drought, and yearly fires!

These companies didn't mind big government when they were small and depended on government contracts to get established. Now that they are rich and successful they don't want to pay taxes and help the next generation get off the ground.
