In today's video, I will be going over how to fix the Windows 98 Virtual Machine EXPLORER caused an Exception 6d007eH when attempting to install Windows 98 in VirtualBox. This error occurs on newer Intel CPUs and it's a good thing there's a quick and simple fix for it. You can apply this method on Windows 98 First & Second Edition.
All you need to do is reboot your Windows 98 VM, boot into Safe mode, and go into File system properties of the operating system and disable all 32-bit protected-mode disk drivers which will fix your problem. After you do that you can successfully boot into Windows 98 normally!
