In this interview with the National Law Enforcement Museum, former Secret Service Agent Clint Hill covers his early childhood, his time in the army, joining the Secret Service, and his career serving under Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford. Highlights of the interview include his firsthand account of the assassination of President Kennedy, protecting Mrs. Kennedy the year after the assassination, and subsequently his account of finally healing from the PTSD he had carried with him for decades after the assassination.

A man thrown into the spotlight, who has come to grips with his place in American history. Thanks for uploading this video, because just as Jackie's pink dress, Mr Hill's words belong to all future generations of Americans, so they too can bear witness. Those of us that were alive back then, remember it like yesterday... that horrible day in 1963...

Mr. HILL had the best opportunity to take and conceal evidence. This is like Jackie's pink hat and white gloves and small gun. And a white Lambkin hand doll. Ask him forthrightly. If you look at Frame 313, you may notice, white smoke rising. And, like others have pointed out that we do not expect to see, so don't. This is that, shockingly, left-handed Jackie shot her beloved Jack. He likely did not want to live unable to speak like his sister, Rosemary. Jackie puts something behind the vehicle's cushion as she went to retrive a piece of Jack's skull. Shocking to be covered up by many book selling conspiracy theories. They all are to set us off track. Mr. Hill was hired as Jackie's body guard.

Like Mr. Hill, I was also assigned to Ft. Holabird, Md in 1963 for training as a Military Intelligence Special Agent. Upon completion of my training I was assigned to the 902d MI in Wash, D.C. I, too, re-enlisted in 1966 and was assigned to Germany. Those were exciting and demanding days in Europe during the Cold War. In 1968 I received orders to Vietnam and left Germany for a leave prior to reporting for shipping out for Vietnam. However, while I was visiting my parents, I received new orders reassigning me as the USAEUR Liaison Officer to the Intelligence Command. So, back to Ft. Holabird I went, happily I might add. I separated from active duty in 1970, returned to college on the GI Bill, completed my degree, went to law school and practiced for almost 40 years. I never met Mr. Hill, but I wish I could have. @@AA-ke5cu I have not reviewed the evidence other than the Zapruder footage, which I have had the opportunity to review, frame by frame. With that viewing opportunity, especially the moment of impact of the fatal shot to the President’s head, I can only come to the opinion that the fatal shot came from behind. The prior shot which passed through the President’s neck, and which also came from behind, possibly would not have been fatal. The experience of viewing the film confirmed to me there was no indication of any wound to the President that was fired from a position in front, or from the side of the motorcade, such as from the famous grassy. knoll. As to the presence of a conspiracy, it is my humble opinion that there was none. Most of the many different ones originated in the fertile minds of the media and fiction writers. I believe Mr. Hill completely. Thanks for asking.

Another factor that many people never factor into their thinking is the fact that President Kennedy was wearing a very large back brace that limited his range of motion greatly. The brace extended far up his back and just below his chest in front, all tightly wrapped in heavy bandages. This brace affected how the president reacted, how much body could adjust. It makes judging bullet trajectory and body reaction even more difficult. Reactions would differ being shot in that car with or without a large back brace. The brace likely prevent the president from bending over further after his first wound in the throat, perhaps limiting his ability to bend way over/forward and out of the line of fire. And so on...

There is no film footage shot in Dealey Plaza, from Zapruder to Nix that shows that the limousine ever came to a complete stop. The limousine did slow down because the two Secret Service agents in the front seat were looking back to see what happened in time to see JFK hit with the Fatal headshot before accelerating. Clint Hill lost his footing as the limousine began to pick up speed and somehow managed to get onto the back of the trunk in time to save Jackie Kennedy because she would have surely Fallen off the back and gotten run over by the follow-up car

The zaprudder film has been manipulated i can break it down frame by frame for you, the driver of JFKs car was looking directly back at JFK when he got hit with a headshot, not at a complete stop but to a slow creep, Agent Hill actually in the Z film jumps on motorcycle in the motorcade then leaps onto the back of JFKs car thats when Jackie jumps on back trunk .(I suggest to watch the Z film in slow motion then slow it down to .25 speed.) You will naturally see many anomalies that could only happen through film manipulation. From the front row of crowd on elm street to the sign post covering the throat shot of jfk jumping around and moving then disappearing posts of the sign and the fact the sign has opacity and you can watch the car headlights faze through it as well as a lady in blue on the bottom right corner.

Unfortunately the most important question was not asked. That question being; why was the evidence from the top ballistics and forensic expert Howard Donahue quashed? That evidence showing the metal fragments from Kennedy's skull contained 98% brass and only the Secret Service had bullets with that metal combination. Ascertaining that a shell was fired from ground level verifying the smell of cordite along the presidential motorcade path. A shot fired accidentally by one of the Secret Service agents riding in the backup car following the presidential Lincoln continental. Also making clear why the Secret Service was so adamant on removing the president's body from the hospital to bring it back to Bethesda, Maryland, breaking a state law that all deaths need to be diagnosed and autopsied in the state in which the death occurred. It would also explain the placing of a perfectly preserved shell on the gurney that the president's body was brought in on as a diversion to cover their own buffoonery. Buffonery of epic proportion which would have made them the laughing stock of the world and a humiliation which would have made the world a better place today by slapping the arrogance out of the US Government. Unfortunately the lies and the arrogance continues and the world is worse off because of it. Ref: Mortal Error, The Shot That Killed Kennedy, by Bonar Menninger

Clint Hill claims at about 53.30 he could determine the rough location of the first shot , the Oswald position , but did not hear the second shot ok, heard the 3rd shot but does not elaborate what location the shot seemed to came from , the Oswald position or directly close behind or the grassy knoll in the near 180 degrees opposite direction, this is so important . Many, witnessed the smell of gunpowder odor after the 3rd shot at ground level Clint does not mention any gun shot sound from the grassy knoll area in the opposite direction from the front of him, this needs to be clarified it's so important . Because the trajectory of the head shot bullet is the key to this puzzle , is it possible the head shot came from George Hickey in the security limo behind , remember the trajectory of the bullet , It has been proven the head shot trajectory is not possible from the Oswald position it was far too high to join the dots, and the Oswald ammunition could not do the head shot damage but totally consistent with high velocity AR15 ammunition in the presidential security limo directly behind. The conclusion , Oswald or someone else in that position hit JFK with the first back shot but not the head shot .JFK brain injury was all covered up .BS bullististic's report. Could JFK have even survived the first shot to the back through to neck and if not maybe that is a loophole and convenient reason for the secret service to close ranks and deflect their catastrophic security f#ck up . The whole JFK assassination has never been investigated. Critically but been turned into a humungous who done it , deliberately. just like 911 plus the "pulling" of building 7 event 'you can't believe your lying eye's". Research the assassination of Vietnam president Ngo Dinh Diem on November 2 1963 just 3 weeks before JFK was murdered and look for any connections

Clint had an amazing experience working with the secret service. His assignment of protecting the First Lady Jaqueline Kennedy was memorable to Clint to say the least. Having a bird's eye view of what Mrs. Kennedy was actually like. Obviously this made a lasting impression on Mr. Hill. Clint certainly has the ability to convey his experiences with candor. I like how Clint pointed out the undesirable assignments were being assigned to First ladies. Instead of traveling the Globe with a President, one is reduced to the boring task of attending tea parties, card games and shopping sprees. Clint has seen it all and I commend him for conveying his knowledge and first hand account of carrying out his assignments throughout his career.

Of that be sure. And burning his bloody suit in his barbecue pit may have been his emotional response but it was very unprofessional of him to do so. His training would have taught him to preserve all evidence of attempts on the Chief whether successful or not. But he ignored his training and went along with the black hats. They all did.

Sorry, I cant agree with you. The man wrote in his report that the wound was in the right rear of JFKs head, he then testified to this. He also stated he went to see the body after the autopsy and said there was a wound in the back 6 inches below the neckline. In later years he started to say the wound was on the right side of the head. You want to look up to a Secret Service agent then look no further than Abraham Bolden.

@@geoffreyjohnstone5465 well it is intolerably odd that the Warren Commission looked elsewhere for what convinced them. And it's saddening to make these comments about a fellow so revered but he just did not do the job he was paid to do, and that was protect the number one guy. He failed, perhaps valiantly, but there were so many things he could have done. Chief of which would have been to warn the first lady of where they were and how dangerous it was and what was on the handbills circulating around Dealey Plaza that day. You certainly defended him well, but there is a side of him very friendly to the notion of Johnson taking over. He just does not show it to the public. Maybe they kept him on the detail for the realism of it but they did keep him on which means somebody knew he would not get in the way of the Big Event. Perhaps it is his adoption as an infant and the nerve wracking experience of growing up eluded by the love of a family. But there is something awry about him that seriously undermines his credibility. The secret Service was JFK's last line of defense and they took a dive like they'd been bought off by the same fat cats who got rich off the Vietnam War.

@@paystarbuzzy He was assigned to Mrs Kennedy and I think he did his job as best he could given that no SS Agents were allowed to ride on the Presidential limo. He reacted when others around him did nothing (I dont buy LBJs account of Youngblood's actions) and that is commendable. My problem with him is that he knew the wound in JFKs head was at the right rear (just as Parkland doctors said, and later, Sibert and O'Neil and Bethesda staff) but then later on started to say the wound was above the ear and round to the right side side of JFKs head. His own report and testimony are in total conflict with that assertion. He was saying this long after he retired so had no worries about losing his job or pension. Perhaps he didnt want to end up being railroaded like they did with Abraham Bolden or worse. I also dislike how how the CIA put it out that anyone that wrote a book in regard to the assassination that showed dissent of the official findings was doing it for money but Mr Hill has been involved with 4 or 5 books but isnt frowned upon as a profiteer. People like Lane, Weisberg, Meaghre, Joesten etc couldnt get media time or newspaper interviews so just how do they communicate with people if not by a book? I have gone off at a tangent there but I think up until 1965 Clint Hill was an honourable man that actually came out of the assassination with some credit. However, I am so disappointed he changed his story as to the wound locations in later years.

There are many disturbing facts about Clint Hill and his behavior on 22Nov63 but they only ever appear in a disjointed fashion. One that just occurred to me is the title of his book, "Five Presidents." Ostensibly it refers to the span of Clint Hill's career as an agent. But on futher thought the number five refers to the total number future presidents that were in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. To wit- Nixon, Ford, George Bush 41 and teenaged George Bush 43 and of course Lyndon. As for Reagan and Clinton, they were too smart to be anywhere near Dallas. Nixon was out of town on an airplane by ten AM. I wish I had been the coroner on duty in Dallas that day. When they said the several hours delay occasioned by a Texas Autopsy would be "not acceptable," I would have said "well, you bunch of assholes coming here and letting the president get shot isnot acceptable either!" This motherfuckerstood to benefit more than anybody else, if you ask me. More even than Johnson, because Lyndon was already a famous politician. This devious lying two faced cretin was a nobody who got to become an author and celebrity for the rest of his life. He was an abandoned child who grew up an orphan and his self esteem is so low that he now cloaks himself in a madeup fantasy world of mentally divined media blurbs. LOOK AT IT THIS WAY: It was his job to protect the First Lady, right? Well, under his watch, The president got gunned down in public, like a bully snitch pimp and he lost her pink hat. One thing...he says that the large defect over the presidents head had no brains in it...that cannot be true, as the brain was removed at autopsy, and put in formaldehyde...the brain had shrunken down a little, but there was no large amount of the brain missing...maybe 20% missing at most...he mentions, correctly, that part of the wound forward of the ear, was somewhat covered by a flap of scalp and bone...if you look very closely at the wound area, immediately after frame 313, you can see the skull was indeed opened up along the right-top side of his head, and the flap is somewhat visible...Jackie actually was trying to put that flap back into the skull...as she told the Warren Commission...I was trying to hold his scalp on, and even holding his head together....the autopsy photos pretty much confirm what Clint observed in that terrible situation...but there had to be at least some brain matter observable right after the head shot...a few other witnesses claimed to have seen the brain exposed briefly...the fatal shot had hit JFK about an inch or so below the top right side of his head, and had broken into several large pieces, before exiting slightly forward of his right ear...this was confirmed by observation of a trail of many, very small bullet particles, traveling from back to front...the larger exiting fragments were collected, one large fragment had stayed in the front brain, lodging behind JFKs right eye...His head had many cracks in the skull, almost like an agg that has been cracked open...but his hair hid those types of defects...Oswald's Carcano rifle was considered a high-powered weapon, approx 2,000fps leaving the muzzle...a 160 grain military-jacketed bullet can do that kind of damage!

I remember that interview. It has stayed in my mind all of these years. I had SO much respect and empathy for Clint Hill. Respect because of just how much he carried (like men of his time) his lifelong responsibilities and I have always had empathy for the weight of guilt he carried over JFK'S assassination (even though it was so far from his fault). He ran like a greyhound to get to the back of the limo. But, that was a different generation who were grown men at 18. Now, our society doesn't expect much from them until 30. Remember your "children" could stay on your health insurance until age 26. With the Pajama Boy advertisement to push ppl to sign up for ObamaCare. Feminists wanted to emasculate men, and be treated like Queens, wanted to break the "glass ceiling" for equality in the workplace, yet you won’t find one female in a cherry picker working on electrical lines. Sorry, I certainly didn't intend to have a rant here. But, it turned into one. Our young boys don’t know which direction to take anymore. At school, they are carrying the "toxic masculinity" label and a huge percentage of them are being dosed with Ritalin. Just a nightmare.

Mr. Hill, thank you for sharing your humble beginnings and that you were adopted. My adoptive parents were born and grew up in Ada, Minnesota, not far from Moorhead, MN. I spent a lot of time in Ada, Moorhead and Fargo during my childhood. Those were the best years of my life. Lots of Lutefisk and lefse!!! I look forward to reading your new book. Mr. Hill gave the best piece of information . The autopsy was supposed to be done in Dallas. What did happen in Washington. Anyone with eyes could see the second shot went in the front and blew his skull and brain to the back of the car. Something was changed. Clint was a die hard protector and could tell you the truth but you had to understand what he was saying.

I've been intrigued by Mr Hill since I was about 5. I try to catch every video he appears in. He rarely strays from the official story line. A recent video he did he dropped a bomb shell. That the 3rd shot. The head shot. Mr Hill stated the 3rd shot "sounded different" than the first. I was shocked. I've always believed Mr Hill knows or suspects more than what he let's on.
@bobtaylor170

The third shot sounded different because he saw and heard the bullet hitting Kennedy's head a nanosecond before he heard the sound of the shot itself.

Hill, along with other secret service members did the worst injustice for the country when they unlawfully took Kennedy's body, not allowing an autopsy. They destroyed any evidence, and possibly, the answer to how many shots were fired, then acted like they were heroes for doing it! The reason the assassination is still a mystery is because of their actions. They literally shoved the medical examiner out of their way, and took the body! Think about that.

When I hear interviews like this one with people who were support staff to historic figures, most interviewees capture the importance of their role and memorialize it as did former Agent Hill. He was also exceptionally intelligent as are most government employees at his level. The federal government has high standards and qualifications, and gets to pick candidates from one of the largest pools available. Many situations they must adapt to require the depth of cultural exposure Agent Hill had as a child.
