Sir, ESP and CAS both are applicable to single hull oil tankers, (ESP is applicable for double hull too) they how and where they are different in survey views.
Correction at 5:00 esp is only for bulky and oil tankers.. Not for all type of tankers.. Like No esp for chemical tanker.... As there was already an ibc/bc code for these type of ships thus they were not brought under the ambit of esp.. Correct me if i am wrong
9:51 point no 2.. yes it is applicable to chemical tanker and gas tanker. Oil tanker means a ship constructed or adapted primarily to carry oil in bulk in its cargo spaces and includes combination carriers, any "NLS tanker" as defined in Annex II of the present Convention and any gas carrier as defined in regulation 3.20 of chapter II-1 of SOLAS 74 (as amended), when carrying a cargo or part cargo of oil in bulk.
