The link to this and any of my recipes is posted in the description of the RU-vid video. You can always find it there. But here it is for this recipe: livinghealthywithchocolate.com/paleo-orange-cake/ Almond flour will not work as a substitute but I have an almond flour orange cake recipe on the blog as well!
Nice cake ! What kind of honey are you using? I see that it’s opaque whitish, and all the honey I use here is clear amber colored. I’ve never tried coconut flour before, but now I want to try it. I’m not gluten intolerant, they normally use wheat flour etc.
Hi Edgar, I use raw honey which is much thicker and lighter in color. This is one of my favorite brands: amzn.to/3bdg0dD This would be an easy recipe to experiment baking with coconut flour. Hope you enjoy, please keep me posted.
In order to use almond flour in this recipe you'd have to modify it a bit. I recommend you make this recipe instead - livinghealthywithchocolate.com/chocolate-orange-marble-cake-gluten-free-paleo/
@@Livinghealthywithchocolate coconut flour in my opinion is the best alternative to regular flour that is nut free. Which is why this is a perfect recipe, especially for the summer! Thank you
Hi, it looks really good something you said that got me. It’s a wonderful cake but not too sweet I think that’s what you said I bake some cakes cutting the sugar and half most people don’t like it because it’s not sweet sweet I love how you made the cake thank you so much JP from Miami.
OMG!! I'm so glad I found your channel! Its so hard to find delicious paleo recipes. Please keep posting, love your content. I've been binge watching your videos. Can't wait to try them all out
The coconut flour with the coconut oil usually does give a coconut flavor. You could replace the coconut oil with melted ghee (clarified butter) or grass-fed butter and it should tone down the coconut flavor while making it taste even better. Hope that helps!
I love using coconut flour😁 I use it mainly for chocolate brownies and cupcakes, all sugar free recipes. I will try this cake tomorrow morning, thank you for you lovely videos❤ I like that you matched your top to the theme of the cake too hehe
Thank you for sharing and noticing my top 😊! When you make brownies with coconut flour, do you add another type of flour as well to get the texture right?
@@Livinghealthywithchocolate Hi Adriana :D For the brownies, I don't use any other flour, just 1/2 cup of coconut flour with 1/2 cup of raw cocoa powder, a tsp of baking soda, and a pinch of salt, these are all the dry ingredients. They turn out very moist, soft and delicious! :D

Looks delicious. Yes, I’ve cooked with coconut flour, but only strictly following recipes. Some were tasty, some were fails. I only use recipes from certain sites now (you are definitely one of those sites). Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the Video. We are a paleo/keto/carnivore family and since my sons attend nut free school, this is a very helpful recipe. Now, I can bring this cake to school for my sons birthday.
Thank you Dana. Hope the whole family enjoy 😊 If you like more nut-free healthy recipe ideas please check out my blog here: livinghealthywithchocolate.com/category/diet/nut-free/
These are great suggestions, thank you. I’ll definitely try to come up with a pineapple cake or muffin soon. I do have other pineapple recipes on my blog though.
Thank you very much for your great work of sharing delicious gluten-free recipes of yours with us! Just wander if coconut flour can be substituted with cheek pea one?
Hi Adriana, That cake looks great . Thanks for all yor recipes I can wait to try this one.. Two questions: Can I change the coconut for olive oil? Also Could I use almond milk?
Thanks so much! Olive oil can be used instead but it has a very distinct taste and that may shine through. Almond milk is not as high in fat so the texture may come out a little different. I haven’t personally made this substitution but it may work. If you try it please let me know how it goes.
Hello, thank you for another great recipe! I just made it today and it was delicious. I added grand mariner as an orange extract instead of the vanilla extract. Keep the recipes coming.
Hi, you can use any other pan that is 6 to 8 inches, but I have more details about this on my blog post here: livinghealthywithchocolate.com/paleo-orange-cake/#choosing-your-cake-pan
