Thanks for the muffin recipe. FYI Whole cultured buttermilk is so healthy for you. My granny drank a glass (8 ounces) every day of her life and she lived to be 103.
You are using cranberries in January...late January? You are in troubuuuuuuuule and I'm tellin'. I don't know who I'm tellin'. Anyway, this recipe looks wonderful. I'm not sure that you should call them "muffins" with that glaze. Honey, that's dessert! I appreciate your recipes so much. I made your chicken and dumplin' casserole not long ago. It was a big hit. There are only two of us and the entire casserole was gone in 24 hours. I also appreciate the way you use a spatula to get every drop of what you are cooking. That's important to me and it is so satisfying. Thank you for all you do and may God Bless You!
When I make anything with zest I try to do it a little ahead and rub the zest in with the sugar. It flavors the sugar but also helps to an even distribution of the zest. Frequently I buy a lot of lemons zest them putting the zest in a ice cube tray, then juice the lemons and using another ice cube tray put the juice in and freeze. When frozen put in zip lock bags and freeze. When needed grab a cube or 2 from the bag. Microwave to thaw if necessary. Oranges too.
Another delicious recipe!! Thank y'all. Melissa, how is Tom's cookbook coming? I am sure a lot of us are anxious for it! Hope y'all's vacation is wonderful and thank you for taking us along😊😊 May God bless y'all and keep y'all safe.🤗😘🥰😇🙏🙏🙏🙏
My wife and I have been watching for a while. There is one ingredient folks often leave out . Love . Love of what you create , love of the joy it brings others . You folks never leave that out. My Mom and Grandmother were great cooks , I enjoy eating tasty things. Keep it up dear people , God bless you .
Your comment is so sweet and we are so encouraged reading your kind words. We hope you get to enjoy these wonderful muffins soon! Thank you so much for joining us at the table!
Yum!!! I make cranberry orange muffins every year for holiday breakfasts. The only thing I do differently is I mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and melted butter and put a teaspoon of the mix in the center fill them the rest of the way up and then top them with sprinkles of granulated sugar. It totally takes them a step above the rest. Delicious.
There's nothing better than Breakfast for Dinner! Those muffins look dee-lish-us! I've made orange cranberry pound cake and it was great. Thanks for posting! Well done! 🥯🥞🧇🥓🥓🍳🍳😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻☘️🍀
I am a new watcher from the UK. I love your videos and have been watching every day since I discovered you about four days ago. The great thing is I've got lots to catch up on. I love how different some of your recipes are from the things we cook here in England. I like to hear how you pronounce words differently to us like Basil and Oregano. Thank you for sharing with us.
Oh my, you've made my weakness, anything orange cranberry!!! Since Christmas I've made 3 orange cranberry cakes, absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be trying your muffins. I make my cakes with fresh cranberries, pulse them litely to chop, then mix them and some chopped walnuts into my dry mixture before mixing with wet. Have come out perfect in baking, not firm or undone. Amazing. Thanks for your recipe!
My son and I..just recieved Orange Cranberry muffins from Church...we were enjoying them so much..and were saying how we can never find them any longer...we finished eating breakfast..I went on you tube scrolled for 1/2 a min.and came across you video...I stopped watched..enjoyed.. copied..gonna make them ...thank you for sharing..this. ..my son is so excited..
Oh these sound delish. I bet adding some pecans may be good just to change them up a little. Thanks Tom & Melissa. Hope you have a fantastic time in Florida. God bless, be safe and stay well.
Thank you for continuing to make us videos while you're enjoying your vacation! I made these muffins today and I am just astonished at how good they are. I've never been a good baker but these turned out better than I could buy them anywhere! I'm so grateful for your channel and your recipes. You are an amazing teacher and it's so easy to follow your directions. Happy snowbirding and enjoy your time with your friends. 💕
I love watching you guys are so amazing to watch your family stories are absolutely amazing to see more of your videos than anything else I have ever watch before
I JUST FOUND YOU GUYS ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE MADE SEVERAL OF YOUR RECIPES. YOU ARE MY GO-TO FOR NEW RECIPES. EVERY DAY WHEN I TURN MY COMPUTER ON I LOOK IN MY NOTIFICATIONS TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE MAKING THAT DAY. I HAVE BEEN STOCKING UP ON SPICES THAT I DON'T HAVE AND OTHER THINGS I SEE YOU USE OFTEN. I AM NOW READY FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING YOU MAKE. THESE I AM MAKING FOR SURE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH US.
So, are you the primary cook for your group on these trips, or are there other individuals that are equally as talented as you and y’all share the responsibilities? Thank you so much for your videos. Love this stuff!
Thanks Tom and Melissa for sharing this great recipe. These muffins would be welcomed anytime anywhere . They are a comfort food. Have a good time in Florida and a safe trip back home. Fred.
I love them and have made them as cornmeal muffins using orange marmalade. So yummy but these sound much more moist. Thank you, enjoy your stay in Florida. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I made this following a recipe that Hodges Farm Texas posted on YT. She did use whole cranberries but chopped. It was so good. My whole family loved it (there are 2 adults and 4 kids). I’m definitely trying the craisins because they are easily available. Thank you for posting. I love watching you guys.
Tom and Melissa, your channel and recipes have become my favorite. Everything is so handily laid out ahead of time; your directions, Tom, so clearly presented; and Melissa, your camera work is spot on and your written directions so appreciated. Thank you both so much! Barb. (PS hubby thanks you as well for the delicious meals!)
I love that you use Watkins vanilla. That's what my mom always had on hand when I was growing up. Would like to find a representative or brick and mortar source for this in Portland, OR. By the way, your written recipe shows 1 cup of powdered sugar rather than 2 cups that you used in the demo. I presume that this would be more accurate since you found it was too thick and ended up adding another half teaspoon of orange juice to thin it out. Are you on Facebook?
Every single cooking video I watch, I learn something. I so enjoy your sentimental stories that connect you with the people who shared their recipes. Thank you & I wish you great things in '24. Joan & Dennis from NY 😊😊
Looks delicious. Will definitely give this a try. I just bought some craisins the other day, so this was perfect timing. Tom/Melissa, have y'all published a cookbook? If so, I would love to buy one.
Reminds me of my mom. She loved to have friends over to play cards or board games and she would bake deserts. I miss her. Thanks for the memories. Looks delicious . Enjoy our beautiful State of Florida ☀️⛱️🧁 ~Bunnie~
These look delicious! Thanks for doing these videos even while you’re traveling. Paying attention to Tom’s shirts, you guys travel all over the world. It would be awesome if you could share some of the favorite things you do while on these adventures. I know I’d love to see them!
Orange cranberry muffins are one of my two favorite kinds, I make a cream muffin base and use whatever berry is in season, my favs are blueberry or blackberry....yum. thanks for your recipe I'm gonna see if I can adapt it to sourdough.
One of my favorite combos...orange and cranberry! Buttermilk will make breads and pastries more moist. I suppose you could use heavy cream??? I'm going to make these. But this weekend...CORN CHOWDER WITH BACON!!! 😋😋😋 YUM!!! FYI: Rolling an orange, lemon or lime on your counter using a bit of pressure will make it easier to juice. I heard nuking those for 10 seconds or so will make them more cooperative as well.
I am looking forward to making these. I agree about cranberries. After the holidays, I buy up the cranberries from grocery stores mark down and freeze, so I have all year round.
Just made these, they are unbelievably delicious! I didn’t have any oranges so I used lemons instead. Someday I’ll have to try using oranges😊Thank you for this recipe. I enjoy your videos very much and have made a lot of your recipes!
Tom have you got a little sun? How about you Melissa? Orange cranberry muffins sounds so yummy. I wonder how much Bisquick I could use? I like to mix buttermilk, tomato juice, salt & pepper.... delicious 😋 Thank you Tom & Melissa.
Oh my Mr Tom I have made several of your recipes! Infact I have a section in my cookbook named “Come Sit At My Table” recipes! I roots are from Murray Kentucky and have some of my best memories visiting grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and many greats! Just watched your eggs and shrimp breakfast casserole video!!! The biggest THANK YOU for your lesson on boiling and peeling eggs! I have researched these extensively and have tried several ways! Sometimes successful next time not! I’ve also had my share of frustration peeling where I’ve ended up with just a yolk!😡 Then I will get one often in the same batch that peeling slips right off! I’m soooo grateful!!! One of my most favorites is your recipe for Cheese Danish! Oh my, my husband of 55 years finished one in one day and a half! So incredibly delicious! Love to watch your videos and listen to you and Melissa’s stories! My husband love and worship our Lord and are members of the church! I have a few recipes that are delicious, easy, often requested and family favorites I’d love to share with you and Melissa if you’d be interested! One is for a banana pudding and the other is for Snow Biscuits much like homemade rolls only you can make them while fixing dinner! I will send you my contact info privately! You two are lovely, enjoy your videos very much! Linda❤
Oh Linda, we would love to receive your recipes! We are planning to start a new series in March and we are looking for recipes from subscribers. We have received such wonderful recipes from our viewers! We understand how easy it would be to finish that Danish in less than two days. It is THAT good! We are touched by the section of your cookbook with our recipes. You have warmed our hearts tonight with your kind comments.
Thank you so much for your recipes I have tried several of them and they where excellent i will continue to watch your channel keep the recipes coming and God bless you and your wife
This looks sooo delicious! I love orange cranberry muffins but nobody else in the family likes them! Guess I could make them and freeze, taking out one per day!
I really like your recipes. Do you have a website where we can get all of these recipes? I know they are posted in every video but curious if they are all consolidated on a site anywhere. Thank you!
