@@Metalbass1979 it’s pretty much the same width as the cab and the proportions are similar to you average Marshall 100watt head. Stacked up it’s maybe 3-4 inches lower the a 4x12 cab in height. I hope you find that useful. Speakers make a big difference to how an amp will sound and when you have a cab it’s easier and cheaper the swapping pickups on a guitar.
Picture quality is fine, it’s the sound quality that isn’t great BUT it atleast shows us what this thing sounds like in the room, so it’s still a useful video. 👍
Sounds great , haven’t had a chance to try one yet Could you tell me if the FX loop is quiet ?? It would be replacing my old blues deville as a pedal platform that whines like a 3 year old as soon as a lead Is plugged into the loop Cheers
I think it depends on what style of metal your looking to play. I wouldn't call this a very tight sounding amp, it definitely has more of a vintage kind of gain in my opinion.
@@a_random_guitarist2189 I saw Esquela Grind using one live, and it sounded pretty amazing. Not sure what pedals they were using but it was warm, thick, creamy and just nasty. Sounded real good on the chugs/djent stuff and the downtuned doomy held out stuff. I think I’m sold…
I actually agree with you about a lack of high end. That's probably my biggest complaint about this amp. I'll probably wind up buying an eq pedal to help that out a bit. Thanks for the comment.
