Such a great dive light, I felt compelled to do a review. I use this light as a primary and is attached to my dive mask for a hands free set up. Also currently use this light for video inspections w gopro hero 4.

Thank you, it's a super reliable light. In fact it is by far my favorite non-video light that I've used. I still use mine on every dive, it's bomb-proof.

Thanks for the review. Would you consider using the D520 to your head mount? Possibly add a bolt snap to secure it like a tech dive configuration. Check out my dive recoveries: Cheers: --> #SeattleRingHunter

@@SSPDIVING thanks for the kind words. I am looking at options and possibly riggings up a tech dive helmet with one or two lights on the side. Reach out to me if your ever looking for for a local dive buddy sometime. I'm in Auburn and PADI Master SCUBA diver with all my own gear at the ready... Also as you already know if anyone needs a recovery have them ring me ASAP for best results. I love helping people out over the phone and searching on land or in the water as necessary. Looks like a good light...but i'm not a fan of twist action lights...push buttons for me are the best because you don't have to use 2 hands to on/off the light..especially when you are using a go pro in one hand and a torch in your other hand. Edgardo Gotidoc Sweet I'll check it out!! Push button lights are great! I'm a little biased towards twist heads over push or slide switches. Diving commercially in tight spaces and the lights mounted hands free, I've had too many of them bump something and turn off or change brightness levels.

Great review!! I remember you using that light on our Edmonds dive. That thing is built like a tank! And bright!
