Odds are, the first physical copy of your self-published book you'll hold will be a proof copy you print to test to see how the cover and interior of the book look, and maybe even use to do some proofreading. But if you're a first-time author then you may be a little confused on the process of ordering your first proof copy and how it's different from author copies.
