I absolutely love the Ordinariate mass compared to the Novus Ordo, although am not trying to diminish its essence. If the Novus Ordo mass is said reverently facing east, and minus all of the abuses (altar girls, lousy music, inappropriate dress, communion in the hand, etc) is also a beautiful expression of the liturgy.
Almost identical to the Roman rite low Mass. However, its too " high church" for most Anglicans who have been brought up on the 1662 BCP. Rome needs to rethink just what is the Ordinariate and for whom it is intended. I think the Emeritus Pope Benedict had Latin rite cradle Catholics in mind. Let's hope the Ordinariate.s "Divine Worship" will in time completely replace the Novus Ordo, Roman Missal, third edition, and incorporates the Roman Mass elements as they were before 1948, but with hieratic/Elizabethan or Tudor English to enhance its sacrality for English speaking Roman rite Catholics. But with Pope Francis' time being taken up unmasking child molesting members of the hierarchy and the priests they're protecting is the current Pontifex Maximus riveted to any type of liturgical reform right now?
