She had ample time, even just drawing a gun most likely would have made the dude run away. Just brandishing a weapon is enough. Women are easy targets period.. why make it easier.

My now ex husband kidnapped me in my own car! We were going through the divorce & in his twisted mind thought our son would be better off with our family members than be a child of divorce. His intentions were to kill us both. I talked my way out of it, out in the country where he drove me for 2 hours! I convinced him that I agreed to stop the divorce & he drove me back to my parking garage at my office. This woman is so lucky, as was I to not be killed.

It’s not a high horse, it’s a public announcement to women to be proactive in their own safety. It can be done, if we can get over our vulnerable fears and actually fight back. Too many women have been harmed or killed by the hands of a man, and nothing legally done has put it to an end. We have to protect ourselves. So idc if you’re hurt or offended or feeling morally self righteous, EVERY woman needs to hear this.

Let's say she had a gun and she shot the guy dead. Now she'd be up against murder charges. Good choice? Scary moment, but it all worked out within the law. Likely she could have not put herself in that situation to start with.
