As someone who was getting overwhelmed by even the backlog from one monthly boxycharm, I think I speak for many of us - the PR does not feel braggy or trigger jealousy for me, if anything, it makes me sympathetic & understanding of how burnout happens. It almost seems like a Twilight Zone episode- beauty lover gets access to everything she could want, but then it just won't stop coming & coming. And, for real, we know it has to organized and tested and scripted into various themes...uf da, girl, I don't envy the PR shipments at all. You deserve the success you are seeing, btw. I feel like I'm hearing some imposter syndrome creeping in tho, please remember that no one forced people to give all those good reviews of your palette, and no one forces your colleagues to specifically recommend you all the time. You've earned this, please enjoy it, don't be afraid to relax tho, you have limitless career opportunities in social media and beyond, you can do this while you love it and then get a sweet consulting gig or do motivational workshops or whatever you like...
100%. I like to keep a minimal makeup collection of items I * love* so I love the reviews when you get PR… helps me know what to try and what to skip. It’s super helpful ❤
Personally, I really like this type of "PR haul/unboxing" thing! I'm not normally a fan of the classic style where I just see a ton of product being unboxed without much analysis but this video concept is neat! You could consider doing it monthly, calling it your PR Pile or something. And then film a video on some of the PR things that you are most excited about or the products that might not fit into other videos. Or even searching or trying on and then ranking all the lippies or blushes from your PR Pile. It definitely doesn't come off as braggy. We are happy for your success! 😊
Really like this type of video. It’s very interesting to see “behind the scenes” of everything you, as a creator, have to deal with and make decisions on. I love how vulnerable and honest you are saying how you feel uninspired and not wanting your feelings to be hurt by not getting certain p.r. I feel like I protect myself in life with different things that way. The uninspired aspect I do find myself feeling that way with makeup and what helps is going back through my collection and finding products I haven’t used in awhile To try again. As a makeup lover whose job is NOT RU-vid I have a ridiculously large makeup collection, and I have to be aware that I can’t store everything. We all try product.s that either don’t work for us, or were a quick regrettable purchase. I love watching these videos of all the BTS stuff.

I love a low-key, low-stakes organization video, and I think we can all relate to having a zone where things just kind of pile up that needs periodic attention. If you're so inclined, I'd be very interested to hear how you got on with that cubby of K-beauty items. I've been using several Beauty of Joseon products (ginseng essence, serum, and eye serum, and the probiotic SPF50) and am really enjoying them!
These type of videos are entertaining for me. I love makeup. I don't have the budget to but buy everything I wish. Watching unboxings, organization vids give me the experience of getting new stuff. Meanwhile I totally understand how overwhelming can it be for you to handle all these PR and not become surfeit with.

I LOVE these types of videos. Not only are they calming, but they remind me not to over-consume because everyone has to declutter and minimize their makeup collection. Also, did you mean the body spf or the face spf by Vacation? I was curious about the face spray but it has several comedogenic ingredients in the formula

And don't feel baad giving away promo stuff. They gave you sho much so you would share it somehow. It doesn't;t matter if you are wearing it and talking about it all day - or giving it to someone who will love it. Either way their name gets out there and they get more potential customers, so the free products they give you serve their purpose.
Glamnetic nails are fantastic! Kelly has a lot of good tips, definitely use the separate brush glue- game changer! I do one at a time and I still struggle but they are worth it

The plum plump is my favourite under makeup serum! It’s just hydrating enough for my oily skin and works under spf. Perfect in the dry winter especially

Fascinated me. And a hint for smooth body skin. (1) Dry brush gently before showering/bathing. This loosens the top layer(s) of dead skin bringing up a fresh layer to receive your body lotion. The water afterwards washes away the dead skin. (2) Apply body lotion when the skin isn’t yet bone dry. It absorbs more easily. (3) To get used to making yourself use lotion after each shower/bath, start with a lotion that u can spread easily. The process will go more quickly and with less effort. The viscosity of Lubriderm is easy for me to spread, even when I’m tired. I’ve been applying body lotion since I was a pre-teen and am in my early 80s now. If u need to speed up your body-skin hydration, apply some hyaluronic acid serum to any extra-dry areas (e.g., elbows, tops of hands, wherever) letting it dry completely before applying your body lotion. ❤ Always wondered why people commented all my life on my “soft skin.” Thot it was genetic but part of it must be how I treat it since my siblings’ and father’s skin looked like mine but not same “softness.” Good luck catching up. And, if your feet bottoms need extra love, use a foot cream high in uric acid. Dead layers wear off faster and never have to be “peeled” or shaved off at the pedicurist. How embarrassing!

Oh just a quick thing I placed a Yes Style order when you did your video. We're in a heat wave in the UK and I've been using the Beauty of Joseon suncream you got and it is so nice on the skin. I use unseen sunscreen as well but I think I prefer the Joseon tbh. So thanks for showing us that as I have really oily skin and struggle with face sunscreen either breaking me out or making me look greasy and leaving my skin feeling like it's suffocating.
