When you take the crown guard off, it's no longer an m-force. It just needs to be there. This is the outstanding feature of this watch and you begin to love the watch for it when you have worn it only for a little bit.
I think it adds some originality WITH the crown guard, but I also like the look of it off, since that crown with the red pop is so sexy! Thanks for pointing out that it’s metal…kinda looked plastic in the video.
I bought the red dial Mforce on bracelet and wow 🤩 do I love this watch . I also own the Orient Mforce Bravo and a Orient Triton. This new 2020 Mforce is amazing. The crown guard isn’t a issue for me at all but with that said at first glance I can definitely see why people might shy away. Again so glad I added this new 2020 Mforce. Thanks for an awesome review 👍🏻💯
Everyone talks about the Kamasu/Mako/Kano or even the Triton mini. This one hardly gets a mention yet it's probably the best in their current range of dive watches. I just bought one and it's a definite step up in quality over my Triton mini.
Good review. The previous generation was also ISO 764 anti-magnetic and ISO 1413 shock-resistant certified. Does anyone know if this generation is also ISO 764 and ISO 1413 certified?
That was a helpful review, thanks. Although I don't hear exactly what you're saying at one point. It sounds like you're saying all Orient watches are made in Japan yet I see some models with a "Made in Japan" text, and others just with "Japan Movement". Any help would be appreciated.
I like the look of the watch without the crown guard but it doesn't feel like it's M-Force without it. It's like Michael Jordan without his signature shoes
That is a fantastic looking watch. Orient are a great company. However I cannot replace my venerable 44.5mm Mako XL orange bezel. It's been my backup dive watch recently, has handled down as far as 75 metres, it will be with me on my next diving holiday to Fetihye in Turkey. It has an older non hacking or handwinding movement, but that's not an issue for me, it's accurate, I can see the lume, the bezel is very refined, and that's what counts. But certainly if you're in the market for a new dive watch, I'd get this before a Seiko Padi diver. I love Seiko too, but this one is just better. OK, on Epson . The parent company is Seiko Epson. Yes, it's the same Epson that make printers etc. Seiko Epson are involved in a lot of technology industries.
No it's not. The parent company is The Seiko Group. Orient is under Epson(a part of the Seiko Group) but is still owned by the Seiko Group. Seiko Holdings Corporation owns Seiko but ALL three are owned by the Seiko Group.
Seiko Epson Corp is the parent of orient watch, , seiko holding group is the parent of seiko watch, seiko time, seiko clock etc etc. Both, seiko epson and seiko holding group are under seiko group. It s complicated, not easy like swatch group 😂
Definately looks better without the crown guard, At a glance the guard looks like cheap plastic. Also dislike the divers' extension on the bracelet, they tend to create an uncomfortable " hot spot" on my wrist.
