Okay I LOVED the shot where the computer got ready for the "surgery." The little flip to the right as they swap to the eye was just *_chef's kiss_*

Honestly, I’m impressed they were able to make two bodies out of that. That’s some talent.

I love how everyone is just so calm about this, as if it’s all entirely normal

It took me a rewatch to realize he made “them costumes”. I love it!

Making the victim a cake-headed person was a really clever way to inject some horror into this clip without being too graphic for RU-vid. That half-eaten cake head at the end was great :D

What's adorable about all this to me is that this guy is clearly a mad scientist type, got world domination plans going on in the background, and yet he took time out of his busy schedule to do something nice for these kids (his kids?)

If this was a series I'd binge it. I'd love to see more spooky animations of dr phantasmo and the ghost children! I'm serious this got me hooked. But my favourite thing about this other than the art and the idea behind it was how the computer kept switching back and forth between the cute expressive little face and the unsettling eye.

I love how snappy and on-beat your animations are. Im constantly skipping back to appreciate all the little details!

The floating hands moving independently of the positioning of his arms both makes sense and fucked with my head. A+

The ghost guy is absolutely terrifying. I can’t help myself, I simply adore menacing mad scientist type characters… Oh also everything about this is amazing- the animation, the color choice, the character designs and their personalities- beautiful.

So, I am thinking that the other two bodies were for the ghosts, and they needed a body for the girl ghost, and the cake guy was the perfect vessel. Also the women in the ending has the same bow as the little ghost girl.

This is absolutely stunning! I love the backgrounds, cannot imagine how hard it was to animate those angles

0:07 about 2 years ago i had a dream where i was a ghost and i was in this giant white sci-fi room with a bunch of pods containing people i wasn't sure were dead or unconscious, my body was in one of the pods and my soul was just floating thru the space until i woke up. this scene looked eerily similar so yeah

I watched this at .25x speed, and it not only helped me appreciate all of the effort and details put into this, but the scene where he starts the operation was SO much more suspenseful, it really feels like these are his last moments.

I’ve just been barely been introduced to Dr. Phantsamo..and I already love him and so intrigued 💕☺️✨

I really want to have a series or a short film with these characters! This villain is the most classic type, he didn't have some tragic story that made him that way, he's just evil and not afraid to hurt others, he has a hero's enemy that he fights with all the time. Oh, and he's also very polite to his clients, it was very cute to see him stroking a boy in the credits! I need moreeeeee!!!

Yeah thanks youtube for notifying me of this video 5 DAYS LATER! Aside from youtube messing up subscribed notifications, this animation was amazing, honestly it always blows me away how expressive you make all the faces, even for characters without many faces, if you ask me, you mastered the art of show don't tell, making it clear what the characters think and feel at any given moment. If I ever need top tier animation, I know who to go to (That is if you do work for hire and I will have the money to afford such masterpieces XD)

This is amazing!! You did a great job of actually making the villan really scary!! Which is difficult to do specially with more cartoony villains (from what I can tell in the other animatics and reels he has that dynamic going on) and it just suits him so well!!
