Yeah, they were like how do we take this amazing singer and mess him up. I know let's make him rap so badly that they sparked internet memes and people still cringe till this day.
@@iampluvia7498 emma isn't that creepy? He does more stuff later on but in season 1 he watches finn sing naked in the shower and then plants drugs in the locker... And that's just episode 1 💀
EGtv Okay?? I didn’t mean it in a rude way, the way the joke was phrased just put off the vibe that the only thing you like about their characters is that they’re gay, I’m just saying that’s not all that’s to their personality’s lmao
I still can't believe how Chris changed the course of Glee. I mean, he was just this little 18 year old kid, completely new to the world and this business, but he made the producers go "how the fuck don't we have a gay character in this show?" and create THE character for him, created Burt Hummel, made the Hudson-Hummel family, brought Blaine Anderson and the Warbles, leaded to Klaine and just... so many lives changed, it was huge and I can't believe that all that almost didn't happen. All because an angel voiced boy just out of highschool decided to give an audition.
natalie I loved Burt’s character. My own son was gay (died @21). His dad was a neanderthal compared to Burt. Burt’s character was one of the best on TV, given how minimal the role was.
oh please, you think the masses. Here what you need to wrap your head Around. Lea is Alaready a BROADWAY star the people who made this show Knew who she is! She was born with a Talent!
Eduardo Viajero it has nothing to do with she being a broadway star. Some cast members were also big broadway name but you don’t see people complaining about them being a diva. Being a star has NOTHING to do with being a rude ass diva.
lea was i guess really stressed out that day, and 30 minutes prior to her audition got into a car accident. She had glass shards in her hair i guess WHILE there. So i guess she was just really on edge
ummm so we’re not gonna talk about how stunning jenna’s voice was??? why did tina never get big beautiful ballads??? they did her, mercedes, and santana so dirty
Linda Valeria Paris Chinchilla Fuentes yeah she did, i just wish they all got the same shine lea’s character did in the show. not pushed aside as after thoughts to rachel ya know. naya did have a lot a beautiful songs on the show though😔
Fucking uwu I have autism high functioning but a show where you have low high and regulars and Down syndrome in this kind of show would put ratings thru roof
mercedes was ALWAYS the powerhouse but no one, primarily the writers, ever acknowledged it. it was always the rachel berry show to the end. they did mercedes so dirty considering how incredibly talented she is.
Ever since I've watched glee. Never did any of that kind of thoughts appeared in my mind. Well I mean after season 3 Its kinda appearing hahahah... Idk I havent watched the seasons 4to6 coz after fin passed I stop ff their tracks. Im a fan since 2010-11ish and now that Naya is gone kinda felt like rewatching it and Ofc never gonna watch Quarterback episode. Coz yah know It broke my heart when I heard bout Naya and so is to Cory's. And for mark Idk There's something telling .e not to be sympathetic to him whavtr. I love em anyways. Esp. my UTGs 💜💐😍 Tho we lost one still Love em. Santana foreevr in my heart. Will nver forget yah!💐
I love how Lea Michelle was actually annoyed everyone was laughing and naturally acted just like Rachel Berry except the crew thought she was joking around.
Crackhead Energy They have completely different voices, besides you shouldn’t have to tear one person down to celebrate another’s talent, both of them are AMAZING singers
Emmm, And I'm Telling You, Beautiful, Ain't No Way, Try A Little Tenderness, I Will Always Love You, A Natural Woman......She had a lot of solos, just not as much as THE LEADING CHARACTER, Rachel Berry.
@@MiamiSpartan1 didn’t she begin as an extra, then they liked her so she became a permanent role? So they might not have made her sing and stuff, or taped it. Same happened with Heather Morris I think
Yes...for them to be proven right haha. Only Riley and Morrison sound as good as they do on the show. (Morrison actually is better here than on the show if you ask me.)
I've heard Lea. I like Lea! One of my favorite people on the show. But her voice here doesn't sound quite as smooth, a teensy bit more strained, than on the show. Maybe it's just the audio quality! I'm not judging, just observing.
Musa Maturah I was really concerned they were going to do wrong with the Sue/Becky storyline. I was wrong. Loved Becky! A friend has a daughter with Down Syndrome who graduated high school this year (2020). She was a cheerleader and has a very fierce temperament and strong personality. Kind of reminds me of Becky.
Why do you people keep commenting this everywhere? Do you think it's polite or something? I understand the pain, but it's just annoying to keep reading this in every Glee video, and it only makes it worse that you people just keep whining and posting depressing stuff instead of celebrating his life. It's like everyone wants to remember him as "the guy who died" "the tragedy". At this point I just find it disrespectful and morbid.
Kinda... Just sounds like wordless screaming to me >.> But don't worry, no one needs to get up me for that cos I already know I don't like that genre whatever nor know anything about music :D
@@masteroogway6339 On My Own is completely overused as an audition song. Some directors will immediately cut you if you sing On My Own because they've heard it a million times before and so they think you bring nothing new to the table. You should only sing On My Own if you are 110% sure that you have an entirely new take on it and even then, you should probably use a different song. So, now that I think of it, this could be entirely out of character for Rachel as she's been raised in the theatre world and should know this OR it's completely in character because she thinks that she's the best and a director is going to take her for the lead regardless of what song she sings.
Who cares, and says who? She auditioned with it and look, she got the part. So what is this ridiculous notion of having to follow some status quo or made up rule you're coming up with, judging behind a keyboard? If that were really true, then she wouldn't have gotten the part.
For me, one of the most incredible things about this video is how Amber sang 'And I Am Telling You' for her audition, and more then 6 years later, she sang that song again, but being the main role of Dream Girls. AND WINNING A FREAKING OLIVIER AWARD.
WHAT I NEVER CAUGHT THAT DURING THAT EPISODE. WHERE ARE MY QUEENS. Hey guys, guess the people who didn't make the audition had to... sashay away. Ba dum dum tsk.
This is for anyone anyone who says that they autotune Rachel's voice on the show. Also watching Cory talk about his audition and the way Lea was looking at him made me really sad :(
4:08 I love how Amber’s audition song became something that she got to sing more than 5 times a week because she was performing on the west end it’s a full circle moment
I'm so glad that the role of Kurt was written for Chris. He is so unique and no one else sings quite like him. I also think Amber is an amazing singer and am shocked that,American Idol turned her down. I bet the producers of Idol were regretting that after seeing her on Glee. As for Matthew, I always thought his voice was more polished than the other guys on the show. Probably because he had more vocal experience then they did. And what can I say about Lea? Such a natural! She probably eats, breaths, sleeps, sings.
Kurt's always been my favorite... and looking at the story line. me TRYING to think if Kurt was not here then.... i probably wouldnt like glee that much. Kurt is awesome and Chris Colfer is the PERFECT part for him. And at first he wanted to be Artie but he is a really good kurt. So go Chris Colfer!!!!!!
Roderick Peralta Castillo Artie definitely did not get that many solos, Rachel was first with 45 (give or take a few) and Blaine was second with like 36. I don’t know how many Artie got, but it wasn’t that much.
