originalgoat.com/products/lim... This exact variation that I got is still going to be re produced at a later date so I recommend following OG on instagram because that’s how I got my scales.
How is the finish on those scales holding up? Do you have any chips, scratches, or other types of damage in the Cerakote? I'm trying to determine how durable the finish is on a knife that gets carried daily.
So this knife was unfortunately sold recently to support my wedding earlier in March but while I had the knife it was rotated amongst many of my favorite “hard use” knives. The ti scales don’t come with a coating it’s just as is. It held up extremely well but I also didn’t abuse the knife so I can’t really say it would hold up for certain if it were to be slid across the pavement for example 😂😂. I’m sure it would take on minor damage like any other titanium. It was an expensive build but OG quality and customer service is impeccable.
Yeah... they took care of you, everyone else had to wait 10-12 weeks. My scales took 10 weeks. Originally said the wait was 4-6 weeks. And I messaged them on the 6th week. Got a generic message that said 3 different times to cancel to order if I couldn't wait. It came off to me as, "If you don't like it, cancel your order. We don't care because we have orders coming out our ears." Oh and the scales rattled.
@@hawleyfromhell Even though the scales for my ad 10 rattled I just used some nylon pluming tape. That being said the scales make the knife an absolute beast of a knife. Even with the flaws there product is still amazing.
