Tysm. I wanted to go a perfumer build but still keep my true to my faith build. It's insane how much damage it does currently, I wouldn't be surprised if it was nerfed eventually. (or maybe there are more builds like this we just haven't found yet and this is actually the norm, who knows) Still works as of writing this (patch 1.12.2), at least on my end. For anyone curious, for the Final Boss, I didn't use Madness Seal or Bloodsucking Cracked Tear. Just a +25 Finger Seal & Opaline Hardtear at Scadutree 18 and it worked just fine. Not in NG, Similar stats to the video, at least in terms of the spikes (Vigor, Dex, Faith). Also didn't use the Uplifting Aromatic because I wasn't sure how many attempts I'd be running. Took a few tries to get used to the moveset and the hitboxes. Just L2 and aim down like the video suggests, and all the hitboxes burst at once. Super cool stuff, excited to see more!
its a glitch since from the name, its supposed to roll on the ground and keep going forward instead of moving the direction you aim they probably going to change it so if you aim down or against wall it just keeps moving instead of staying on the same location. or change it so damage triggers like only once or 3 times every few seconds on the same enemy or something like that
*Edit: The build did get nerfed as of 7/4/24. Happy birthday, America.* This build did not get nerfed. You don’t have the right setup if you’re not getting the damage. It assumes 50 dex & faith, +25 lightning bottle with rolling sparks ash of war, and as many scadutree fragments possible. Here’s where the rest of the damage comes from: Buffs Howl of Shabriri: +25% Golden Vow: +15% Armor Rakshasa set: +6% Black dumping helm: +10% Talismans Shard of Alexander: +15% Lightning Scorpion: +12% Perfumer’s Talisman: +15% Aged One’s Exultation: +20% Physic Lightning Crack Tear: +20% Bloodsucking Tear: +20% The bonuses from dumpling and aged one require being inflicted with madness which means applying howl 4-5 times. Buff rotation = howl, golden vow, howl, howl, howl, howl, fp flask, physic, walk through the fog gate. You can even play sloppy w/o aiming at the ground to 2-4 shot most bosses. It destroys everything.
i dont know why but i have both stats way both the req all the items all the buffs and when i do it it doesnt take him to second phase in one go? am i doing anything wrong it will still do a chunk but i have to do it twice to make it second phase.
Thank you for posting this I want to say it's really good to know that the weapon is not broken by any means it just got rid of the buffoonery that was the overlapping hit boxes. If you actually play with strategy the perfume bottles are still wildly powerful.
I mean, if you have to run a particular build to do this, why nerf it? It's super high risk, high reward, plus the bottles have issues as weaponry, so why not let them be?
@@xenico4032 they probably knew a lot of high dps weapons and ashes of war combos with stacking buffs but probably never thought bout this AoW being used like this to do concentrated dmg on one spot
just wanted to say, i was struggling on the final boss but with this (and some trial an error) i beat in him under a minute, and thats being generous given the start up time of the clip and time after getting said clip XD, AND i didn't even use the howl of shabriri buff (i opted for a bit more defense). well done discovering this.
I was telling my friends that I was going to make a perfume bottle build when dlc came out and they told me I shouldn't as it didn't seem that good of a weapon. Can't wait to see how they react now lmao.
@@JVKYL The bottles cant do certain things like riposte or benefit from actual melee hit effects and are a tad bit slower in combat. I really love them so much but I feel they are kinda carried by the rolling sparks at the moment. Fingers crossed they dont get nerfed into the ground entirely. There's been alot of dissapointing things already I've seen.
I think people are complaining about the difficulty because we are on the learning curve and we have been playing elden ringer for a couple of years so we might feel like everything should be easy for us now but the purpose of the dlc is to experience the difficulty again
people complained the base game was to easy, so in return Bandai makes this dlc the hardest dlc of any souls like game. Now that’s its out people complain it’s to hard😂
Bro all I did was get some of the scuddertree fragments, and get that dragon slayer great katana. It doesn't like a truck but u can so much damage wth the ash ofwar in it. I finished every remeberrencr boss except final and then the tree in a single day eventhough I'm shit.
Nah, doing rune level 1 damage when you enter the DLC is a valid complaint; as is having to go on a fetch quest for the fragments to make the game feel normal again. Should've been different. Most are gonna feel forced to look up the fragment locations to not waste their time. Poorly designed

Hey there, have you tried the new crystal tear "Oil-soaked tear" ? It covers enemies with holy making them take a lot more fire damage. Wondering how that would scale with the rolling sparks fire variant on the ground :D
This build is so goood that each boss one shots me its so fantastic 😍 never did believe how amazing a damage build could be by dying all the time more then i do with my own build!!! So helpfull this 😍

ironically this is the technique I just used to take down the final boss like an hour and a half ago. Rolling sparks is sort of OP on all of the elemental perfumes outside of the spark perfume where it seems fairly balanced. Im assuming it's because the perfume is based on bullet AoW scaling rather than raw AR but I can be wrong. The build it's self is incredible. I didn't figure it out till yesterday. I slept on the perfume :/

Heads up on the rakshaka set, while waering it damage taken is increased but its cause the rakashaka set has lower armor thats how it works, isnt of a debuff on you its just the everything on the equip screen armour wise is lower

Pretty sure they nerfed this already, tried multi times with the exact build and it’s only pulling off 7K damage. Guess it’s time to just Chad through it..
@@marioalvarez2387 I tried a build with the frenzy flame perfume and after the nerf the frenzy flame does more damage compared to the lightning one so I just threw on the fire scorpion charm instead of the lightning one. 17K damage per cast compared to the nerfed lightning one that does either 12-7K damage.

This build is not nerfed it's just hard to land the weapon art consistently and still be good enough to dodge a couple of the final bosses attacks. I just 4 shot him but it was close.
Your build has been taking off all over the shadow realm! I’m seeing dumpling summons pop up and it’s so epic. I’m going to try this one. Tried the frenzied perfumer version but it still doesn’t hold a candle (or a flaming eyeball) to the lightning perfume build. I’m a faith strength hybrid. If I respec to a faith dex hybrid will I get higher damage? I wondered if I can get the same effect with just faith. Hope all is well. 😁

Same , for me when i aim to the ground it does not hit any but when it does it only staggers the enemy no dmg they re just standing like bugged ahhahah
Decided to go with frenzyflame perfume since that thing fits so perfectly with the entire talisman lineup, but especially the madness exultation. Even if it's nerfed, this made me notice it's potential.
Since the Perfume bottles were announced i knew those were my new weapons, i love crafting and using consumables, o a bottle that doesn’t run out was perfect, it carried me through all the DLC, with 60 dex and 70 faith and proper talismans you won’t go back, try using the one handed running heavy, it is awesome for PVP as well
and now, in a couple of hours, ragegaming will publish their new and completely original ultra hyper mega new perfumer build, never seen before... :D Syrobe, you are the best elden ring theorycrafter there is
Yeah, I mean, honestly it's not like we are speaking about a game like path of exile, that have a look t of possible combinations between skills/equip etc. Elden ring is very basic in terms of customisation, so I guess probably this same build has been already played by a lot of people that accidentally discovered how strong a thing is. I'm not surprised. The difference is that I believe someone like syrobe doing experimentation/test new stuff, and someone like ragegaming watching RU-vid until they find some smaller content creator they can steal a good build from

@@steph50937 it’s still good damage just not as much as people say and idk if it’s just never gonna do the same amount but theyre leveled up to max and I have all the buffs and stuff even the flask and incantations it just doesn’t do near 30k
Much deserved like! Struggled with Radhan for 2 days and with this build killed him in 3-4 tries, had to only figure out to aim properly to the ground :D In 2nd phase 46k damage
the build does not work Best damage ive gotten is 7k at once Edit: The build does work you just have to not lock on and aim down when using the ability’s
I'm getting about 20k when it's a full hit, haven't gotten to his damage but it hits hard. I'm ng+6 and it's melting bosses in about 4 hits. Problem is it gets boring fast.
Thank you so much for this, I didn't follow the build one to one, my stats were a little off, I didn't use the new physic, and my blessing level was only 16, but I was able to beat The final boss in four hits after learning his patterns and getting some good RNG.
You need the talismans, golden vow + madness buff from the headwear + wondrous physick buff +have to do the ash of war looking at the ground near the enemy's feet for max dmg all stacking to do that DMG + level allocation

so i copied the build to a T down to not putting any extra points in dex or faith and dumping anythign extra into vigor. even did the exact order of buffs shown in the last clip (including uplifting aromatic) and rolling sparks did piss all (tested against saint of the bud bty for reference). only around 10k per usage of rolling sparks if each explosion connected. please tell me theres something im missing here
i did as well and i annihilate bosses. Do you cause full madness build up to occur and do you have the right tears in your flask? And if every item was copied perfectly. including gear. Maybe its your scadutree fragment level?
Aiming at the ground rather than the boss/enemy is the most important thing. If you don't do that, it'll hit for like a fraction of what the video is showing.
remember that uplifting aromatic perfume and golden vow are both aura buffs. If you want the shield make sure to use the perfume first so you'll still get bonus 15% from golden vow( uplifting perfume is only physical and won't work for this). Also rallying standard is better than golden vow.
@Icneumone7 me too...I made a build around these perfumes level 29 for co op and it took forever to go through the dlc with...now its going to be nerfed because of a dumbass
@@Dr.Vinheim To be fair, he's not doing anything amazing here. The amount of buffs he's using, multiplied by the scadu tree fragment produces this. Go and use the same weapons outside the DLC and things will change noticeably.
I love all these zoomers coming in here complaining that it doesn't work, seriously having the attention span of a goldfish and not even putting the bare minimum of effort into this build and immediately complaining because they have to do something for it, absolutely pathetic. Just hug the boss and aim at feet and use the ash
I have the exact same armour set, lightning perfume bottle +25 with rolling sparks ash, same talismans and tears. Using the same buffs in the same order (golden vow, aromatic, tears, madness). I'm level 232 with 83 faith 83 dex. Tried this build on Consort Radhan and best I can do is 9k damage before I get killed. Tried this with and without summons, with and without target lock with similar results. What am I missing?
You’re either taking too long getting through the first phase and your buffs are dying, or all the explosions aren’t hitting the boss… you still need to get off the entire ash and you don’t exactly want to aim it directly at your feet. Aim at the bosses feet from a few feet away. I wasn’t hitting those crazy 30k damage shots but I could do a consistent 17-20k on ng+ 3 and beat him in 3 AOW casts in about 30 seconds
I was struggling like never before with the end boss, especially with phase 2. We ended up killing each other and I somehow got the win. Many thanks for this as I can now move on with my life!
Just so you know, all perfume bottles as well for base game (like spark) are all infinitely purchasable now if you get the right merchant/ bell bearing. Before hand though there was some farming spots next to a grace to pick them up, but that's boring for sure
Build is insane. I didn't even use the full thing and still made easy work of Rhadan. Just used the weapon with ash of war, perfume talisman and lightning scorpion with the two incantation buffs and he fell in about 3 attack both phases.
Finally managed to beat the final boss using this build! - solo and minus the uplifting aromatic Can confirm that not locking on and aiming for the feet/ground of the boss makes all the difference Amazing build - great work
Since this is a glass cannon build, I improvised a little and used the Opaline Bubbletear to negate that first hit, which honestly really ties everything together.
for everybody saying it dosent work: i just two hittet messmer with it ez clap (in ng+). i got everything from the build except the hat and it still worked great. i have faith 75 and dex 60 dont know how much it matters. most important is really to aim at the floor when extremly close to the boss (so every explosion hits him) and the buffs: i used madness, flame grant me strentgh and golden vow, without the buffes i only did half the dmg. (i also only used my +9 Erdtree Seal to cast the buffs) maybe it helps somebody
It's not gonna get nerfed. I'm well past Ng+7 at this point I'm either one tapping them or they're one tapping me. Never died so much in Elden ring. Lmao.

You are a life saver. Was stuck on the last boss for a bit. Always getting close but at the end he always got me. At first the build wasn't working well for some reason but figured it was cuz i was bringing Thilion and Asback into the fight lol. Went alone and got him on 4 hits. Could've been three but he got away to do his AOE attack lol Thanks a lot.
@@JuzoHakke Are you taking the two NPCs with you? If so they might be the problem cuz the games difficulty spikes up with them on your side. Or you might have a glitch like some ppl are saying on Reddit.

I also beat the final boss of the DLC, but I did it with my regular build. Definitely a lot of fun and now I’m going to try the perfume stuff against him to help other people
