I ordered my 93, pre-production special order, been road racing it for over 30 years now, I have a 625 HP 383 LT1, the car still looks like new or better, for whatever that's worth, they are one hell of a machine, it will run with anything produced today.
@@explodifier6021 It's not very good, the car is built for road racing, has 3.25 ring and pinion, and like in this video the car just wants to spin in the lower gears, it is the worst set up possible for drag racing.
What transmission does that car have? I read the motor trend article on one and it said it came with a built 4l60e. But I see this one is a stick. Curious what they used. Badass car!!!
@@catfissh An LS6 can't be bored/stroked out to an 427 because it's max 3.91" bore. You would have to re-sleeve the block. These GMMG 427/454 cars used the C5R aluminum block.
@@24theMoney I've run with them a number of times, now my car is a nicely modified road course car, but not even in the same time zone, they're very quick, but no road racing macine.
