Bro , I literally just bought a 92 735il black , 30 min after watching this video . I had an 92 glacier blue 735i and regretted selling it immediately . Had to come back to this video . This was all the motivation I needed . Thanks
Great work Taylor, I’ve always wanted to do this. Hearing the stories from the greatest generation is priceless. I bought my e28 from a 78 year old chemical engineer. He owned it for 37 years. The people we get to meet on this journey make it worth taking.
man this story is awesome, i have an almost similar story with my e34 535i which i bought from the original owners son and was a personal import from Sytner BMW in nottingham back in the 90's, maybe i should get in touch with him and show him the restoration ive done to his 535i too haha
What a great story and I too also love older BMW'S I own a 98 528i it's not an M car but I love it just the same and what I love about older BMW'S is that they were made in a German factory by a German auto worker and traveled by ship from Germany to America yep I love my E39.
I own a 88 735i. The car thqt got me to love bmws and now i own the actuqll same car that was the same one i rode when i was 14. The same one. I still cant get it over my head. Never thought ill own it in my life
Great story and awesome restoration/build on this classic 7 Series. That model was the first BMW I drove back in 1989 when graduating high school. It was my uncle's car. Fell in love with BMW then...and still suffer from that torturous love today. lol. Anyone who owns old BMW's knows what I am talking about...
I find it commendable that Alpina still supports these cars after all these years. One part I WISH they still made or offered, is the auxiliary digital cluster that was fitted along the bottom center of the front gauge cluster. Practically impossible to find. Great video! Thank you for sharing this.
