Original Timeline Flash TIMELINE Explained!

doesnt the fact that Reverse flash going back in time to make a really big temporal change that solidifies instantly , makes the timeline we know as the Reverse Flashpoint ? look at it this way , when Barry created flashpoint , it was because he changed a crucial moment in his life , which is saving his mom , which led to his father not going to jail and much more , but this very reason leads to his eventual erasing if you remember , so by having Nora allen was killed by Reverse flash , it would make the original timeline as the Reverse flashpoint , but then why did reverse flash did not get erased ? it is because if he does not exist , he never creates the particle accelerator , he does not admire flash , he does not get humiliated by the flash , he never takes the flash as his greatest foe , which leads to him never killing Nora allen , which means that the flash wont be the flash!!! , also about the original timeline flash , ig his timeline was erased as soon as nora allen died because in his timeline she never dies , which meant that he was never raised by joe and iris , hence I feel that the original timeline of the flash was erased as soon as nora died , it would have been erased nevertheless if reverse flash killed young barry , now here is the fun part , I just told that his timeline was erased , which means the original timeline was erased , but if that is erased , then no other timeline would exist , making it as the Prime timeline , hence I can say (this is trippy) but the Prime timeline itself became simultaneous with all the other possible timelines (that is , existing at every moment at the same time) , hence making this timeline untouchable , un erasable , and un alterable , solidifying the so called "proper events" , which eventually gets altered due to temporal changes (which is not related to the changes in Prime timeline) !!! I always had this idea that once original Barry stopped RV flash from killing younger him he knew that he would be erased so he ran into the speed force and stayed there.

So here’s the thing. Our Barry is more experienced as the FLASH, but that Barry is older and wiser as a person. Barry has put much more time into the sciences which is why he’s capable of building Gideon for example as well. So he’s much smarter, wiser, put together. He likely progressed much faster especially when you look at our Barry and he seems to use the team as a crutch very often or a safety net, which doesn’t allow him to truly improve as much. While the Barry from the Og timeline was only 4 years into being the flash, (which due to time travel, it’s probably much longer,) I would presume that he was just as skilled as our flash is today, though maybe not as fast, considering that he was neck and neck with thawne before thawne lost his speed, which was a faster version of thawne than we’ve seen otherwise. With the exception of flashpoint, but that thawne we never really saw. Also that Barry has definitely gone through flashpoint or else he wouldn’t stop s1 Barry In regards to team flash I’d assume that wells built the suit but there wasn’t much of a team, kinda like how Cisco built Wally’s suit in flashpoint but then basically told him to F off after.

I'm trying to wrap my head around why Flashpoint's timeline turned out so badly if that is the original timeline and Barry still becomes a hero anyway.

The whole new timeline we got for the show could also explain why Green Arrow is more dark and broody compared to the comic character who is more happy and light hearted. One big change in the time stream affects everything as seem when Barry tried to change his past and then repair it and the members of Team Flash lives changed and when Diggle's kid changed genders. It's entirely possible that Oliver was changed to be what we got for Arrow which was basically Batman.

Every time thawne talks about his rivalry with the flash his talking about the original timeline flash, what’s his beef with the main timeline flash apart from them looking alike

I think Cisco was there because eobard once mentioned Vibe but I don’t think Caitlin was there. In our timeline, during a deleted scene (I’m pretty sure) Caitlin got offered to go back and work at mercury labs again. She declined because she was Barry’s doctor and she felt like he was her responsibility, then the throughout the show she stayed (which would also mean there wasn’t a Ronnie. Just to put that out there) but if we’re correct about the PA exploding in 2020, she would already been working at mercury labs or at least doing something else with her life, meaning she was never there. It’s also said that she was there to help with the PA, meaning we can take this two ways, after Star Labs was built, she transferred to help out with the PA, having her life that was supposed to happen in season one, jumping starting much later on. Or she stayed at mercury labs (because throughout that time up to 2018 - 2020 there was no need for her to be around star labs) meaning, she either stayed at mercury labs, got a different job, or didn’t show up until after Barry got struck. But Cisco was always meant to work on the PA, so I think Barry & Cisco knew each other but they don’t have the exact same dynamic as they do during season 1.

Here is my theory -So Nora’s death is meant to happen. Once thawne creates this new timeline(TL-2)by going back to kill kid Barry it becomes the set point for everything that happens before and after it. Basically a loop. -The original timeline(TL-1)is the timeline Thawne is from. This is where Barry gets his powers in 2020 and his parents are still alive. That Flash never met Cisco or Kaitlin or end up at star labs. In 2024 The flash and reverse flash vanished(traveled back to 2000). They fight in the Allen house and 2024 Flash incapacitates Thawne and saves kid Barry. Thawne then proceeds to kill Nora and get stuck in 2000. This timeline is never seen because we start the show in the new timeline created by Thawne. -In the new timeline(the show we see) Thawne takes over Wells body and has to create the Flash early. Season 1 plays out and thawne gets erased. But in this timeline there’s 5 Barrys there that night(Kid Barry, S1 Barry, S2 Barry, S9 Barry, and S3 Barry). S9 Barry and Thawne race to the Allen house and crash through the window and fight around Nora. Season 1 Barry arrives in the bedroom and goes to watch the chaos and is about to intervene but S9 Barry stops him then saves kid Barry. Thawne then attempts to stab Nora but S2 Barry stops him. S1 Barry(TL-2) is erased. Flashpoint happens then Barry has to let Thawne go back and kill Nora. Post flashpoint thawne shows up and erases the flashpoint Barry(TL-3)and OG thawne. Once he returns barry to his new “fixed” timeline it resets the the events of that night back to pre flashpoint. Because it HAS to happen now. So now this is how it all goes down: -Thawne goes to 2016. -He takes note of everything and everyone at star labs -He is sent back to his time and puts the pieces together and learns Barry and everyone else’s identities -2024 Barry and Thawne are sent to 2000 -Barry tires to warn thawne -They race to the Allen house and fight around Nora as thawne is there to kill kid Barry -S1 Barry arrives in the bedroom and goes down stairs. -S9 Barry stops S1 Barry from intervening and then saves kid Barry. Thawne kills Nora instead and his speed runs out because the OG timeline has been shifted and now he has to become the catalyst for the flash getting speed. He remembers wells and Star labs from 2016 and decides to create the flash early. He then gets erased 15 years later. Post flashpoint thawne still exist since he no longer belongs to a specific timeline. There was never an “OG” Barry for us. The Barry we watch IS our OG. It was always s9 Barry telling s1 Barry not to save his mom. The red skies/vanishes in crisis newspaper can simply be explained as a paper from the “OG” timeline that Thawne brought it with him. It was never our Barry that was supposed to be in that fight in the future. That fight and then vanishing is just basically 2024 Barry and Thawne traveling to 2000 to have that original house fight in which Barry saves his younger self. But thawne changed all that by going back and killing Nora

The thing that I realized after finishing the entire series is that the entire show was one big reverse flashpoint from the very first episode reverse flash changed the timeline completely from the original timeline thus creating a reverse flashpoint

I always liked to think that Og Barry was comic Barry or the closest thing to comic Barry because of thawn mentioning dawn Allen who’s from the comics and was never seen in the show and that thawn was from the Og timeline

In terms of differences in the timelines, I know some of the big bads have been confirmed to be in the original timeline, which are: 1) Savitar (thawne knew about him in the 100th ep, when they go back to 2015) 2) Devoe (Thawne mentions in the thinkers origin that he was "a big fan") 3) Cicada (thawne knew about him in the 100th ep + Season 5) 4) Reverse Flash (Obviously) RF becomes a big bad because of being trapped and Zoom does because of the singularity. Both of which didn't originally happen, so we start with Devoe as the original flash's first big villain (Savitar is said to only exist due to Flashpoint, so Barry needs a villain, Devoe, to do something to make him decide to make a flashpoint. For example, kill his parents to make him become the flash) So it'd be: 1) Devoe (kills Barry's parents because he needs the flash) 2) Savitar (flashpoint happens + might've been what caused Barry to go to the future and meet RF, instead of going to 2024.) 3) Cicada (Savitar/Devoe do something and Cicada is made + Cicada isn't caught + RF is watching) 4) Reverse Flash (RF wants revenge for the stuff from the Savitar plot + finds out Barry's name during/just before crisis + races with flash through the streets + goes to kill Barry as a kid + is trapped in the past) And the Flash's suit would be styled like S4's but uses Tech from S6+'s suit, since he still have the original ear bolt things but it's in 2020-24. Also he seems to have a smoother head in the news paper, so that might be another difference. RF bases his suit off this + RF's suit looks closest to S4's. RF's S8 suit does the same with the Season 8's suit (the Flash has the yellow boots in that version + RF has red boots) Also for team Flash, in THE S1 finale, Thawne seemed to know about Jay Garrick, when his helmet came through the portal. He also lists a bunch of names when trying to figure out who Nora is, in the 100th Ep. (He mentions Nora was called Dawn, like the comics.) They all might be speedster, or they might not. And as for Barry's job... Gideon: Barry Allen. Director of Central City Police, CSI Devision. Barry also gets with Iris at some point, probably gets with Barry earlier and never dates Eddie. (in the show, Barry moving into Joe's House, after his mother's murder, might've made iris see Barry more like a sibling and not as a romantic partner, so she decided to date Eddie and not Barry as a result.) Eddie then finds someone else which leads to RF. (He's "the only thawne to be almost completely forgotten by history")

If you think about it the flash point timeline IS the original timeline. We only saw up to a certain point. Think about it. Well’s particle accelerator explosion would have happened EVEN IN FLASHPOINT because without Eobard going back in time/killing Nora Allen. Things would have ended up like flashpoint except the accelerator explosion happening later. Let’s also be honest about one thing Barry and Iris were already best friends in school before they lived together so they probably would end up together purely by design anyway.

i don't think is more experienced compared to the original timeline flash, i think original timeline flash was more experienced due to the fact he might have to learn it all by himself, and even created the gideon to better understand his powers and making a better decision, gideon might also include the power from the speedforce seeing how she knows history and how to work with barry's speed and was originally created by barry, aslo reverse flash mentioned in flashpoint that the future barry he knows is not stupid as barry, which would indicate his knowledge and experience, also future barry might have been more of scientist compared to barry and have a better understanding of the speedforce and of his power than barry.

Thawne travelled back in time to kill young Barry. I believe his Mom did still get killed in the OG timeline. Remember people in the future don't know that it was Thawne who killed Barry's mother, which means Thawne might not know either. And his mom's death is a fixed point in time which is why Flashpoint turned out how it did. It wouldn't be a a fixed point if it didn't happen in the OG timeline That's how I ended up interpreting everything after just binging the whole series for the 1st time

i guess he got into the speedforce jail instead of thawne cuz thawne make so much changes in the past it made reverse flashpoint and had no speed force left means they didn't put him in it so they put barry in it. Ok.. I will watch the final season IF and only IF I hear that they have OG timeline Barry in it. Like they show the original timeline and how it is, and you know not add typical CW crap to make it cheesy. Like maybe have it parallel or something like we see what is going on in both timelines then we see for the final episodes it lead to Barry going back in time to save his mother and everything resets to how it would’ve been if Barry’s mom had not died.

A common faulty logic applied here is that Barry didn't get his powers until later in the "original" timeline. Except this is based on the original Harrison Wells talking about how long it would take him and his wife to build Star Labs. That does not necessarily correlate to when Barry originally got his powers. Eobard was trying to fix a fundamental aspect his changes from time travel caused - specifically, assuring Barry became the Flash. There were moments, specifically in season 1 when Wells/Thawne was manipulating things meticulously to allow himself to get home, where he was monitoring the timeline to best approximate the version of history he needed to restore his speed. one of these things was the newspaper for Crisis, whichw as originally 2024. In another season 1 episode, Barry lost his speed and Gideon's projections was that this had becoming a solidified event with low chances of Barry getting his speed back. It would make no sense for Eobard, who already waited over a decade, to grant Barry his powers years earlier than he was originally meant to get them. Then on top of all of that, in season 2 with the very first introduction of time remnants (and honestly the only time that's made sense) Eobard's first encounter with the Flash, having traveled back in time. That version of Eobard was said to only exist because it was an event that needed to exist to prevent a paradox. That unequivocally establishes that Barry had to already be a flash by that point in time. Whether or not there ever actually was an "original" Barry from a timeline that's been completely erased, or if Eobard effectively created the timeline his Barry came from to start with is up for debate. But that first point is just wrong. However it happened, Barry always got his powers at the same time.

One thing we never covered is what do we think Barry would do career wise in the og timeline? He became a CSI originally to figure out his mother’s death so if she’s not dead I’m not sure what he’d do.

If I rewatch the arrow-verse shows I would only going to stop at Arrow season 8 episode 10 “Fallout” now, instead of continuing The Flash because the ending they got for us is so terrible.
