@@edulric not sure I understand. He hit pretty well last year and had some clutch plays in the outfield, covered a lot of ground. Faded late in the season I guess.

I disagree. He's one of the only ones with experience on the team. He only played 12 games so far this season. Red sox will most probably finish last in the division anyway. There is no other player that deserves to take his spot right now!

​@SwiftEC360 True, but there were other teams who got top 5 picks multiple years in a row since 2019, like the Orioles did. In the 2022 draft, the Orioles took Holliday, who is in the majors, the Diamondbacks, took Drew Jones with the 2nd pick. He is still stuck in High A and not doing well. So you still have to hit on the prospects. Top picks doesn't always mean success.
