I’m just excited to ride it before the general public. I’ve been working at KI for a couple of seasons and I’m glad I’m returning. Perks of being an employee!
@Carl Gibbons not hateful, based on experience and riding other gigas. After riding enough roller coasters you can get a feel for what each element will do, and also just comparing it on paper it’s still quite underwhelming. Not to say that I’m not excited, a giga coaster is always a good thing.
I'm going to love this ride even though it's going to get alot of backlash. Honestly KI probably didn't go "All Out" being that its costing them $2 million to tear down Vortex and then they will replace it in the next 3 years with hopefully a Record Breaking T-Rex or Triple-Launch coaster in it's place .
To be honest I am not surprised by this. I guess I was expecting the weather to get warmer before they started testing but they are opening this in April so I guess now would be the time to get this up and running.
Louis holding Kevin Diamondback is my favorite ride at KI. Once you get on it, you’ll be able to do all the rides there. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to ride it this year.
Just so you know this was the very first test run they did for the ride so it's expected to go up the lift very slowly. It will definitely go much faster when more testing comes around.
@@joefitzpatrick7758 Usually after a test runs the speed of the actual ride improves that has nothing to do with the speed of the lift Hill though because that is up to the chain assembly or the pulley assembly. Coasters like millennium force and El Toro use a different system to get you to the top much quicker instead of lingering now for 2 minutes. Older coasters like nightrobe take forever to get to the top. I am hoping that they just had the lift Hill at a slower pace because that isn't something that improves with test runs that is just the speed of the lift assembly and at 300' I'm hoping they crank it up a lot quicker to decrease wait times
