The Affiefilm crew visited the market town of Ormskirk in west Lancashire.
We unfortunately came on a day when the market was not on. There was still plenty to see, as I am sure you will find while watching our video. The crew spent a couple of hours on a very cold January day, finding lots of hidden treasures.
We hope you enjoy this tour, and maybe, one day, take a tour yourself !

I used to climb the old water tower in the early 90's. Way before health and safety! You could still climb the inside stairs. The upper beams were still there back then. I shuffled halfway across the beams and there were still old iron nails protruding. I remember climbing under the fence of the old water plant as well.

I really enjoyed this trip.Some wonderful sky /cloud / sun shots and the wall painting is excellent .A big like and thanks for sharing ,

This was so great to see! I studied abroad there for a a term four years ago, and I miss it. I totally forgot about that mural on the side of the building, and the walk to the train.

Some interesting shots in here; probably a few places that some members of our Society haven't seen. The views of the Clock Tower are particularly good.

it used to be,no longer a medieval town now a university town.zero investment from edgehill,if you are reading history look for me on fb i have my own museum.

@@homersmith43 Students and staff themselves tend to pay into the local economy. Other visitors, like for the theatre and sports facilities, do so too. True it's not like an old local community, but it has been so for a few decades.
