ORV Owner Review: This Is The Most Overbuilt Travel Trailer I've Ever Seen!!! 

Everything highlighted in this video is what made my wife and I decide to go shopping for an Outdoors RV. We recently bought the 25RDS in the Titanium series and couldn't be happier with it. We've had it for exactly one year and spend just over 60 nights in it. Amazingly enough, we haven't had one single problem with it. How many RV oweners can say that?! Always fun to see the smile on another Outdoors RV owners face when they talk about their rig. Thanks for the tour Don. Love the backcountry series.

Hey JB, I hope that you're having a great day! The Outdoor Titanium series Rv's are built just like those but just alittle better. They also come with one to two of the electric fireplace space heaters. They also come standard with 600 watts of solar plus Lithium batteries, and in certain cases they will have up to 1000 watts of solar plus they all come with a generator! They are all well built and made to last for years. They just came.out with one that comes with the patio and it isn't a toyhauler! Super nice plus I think the Titanium series comes.with two AC units but don't quote me on that. When I get ready I'm going to go from my home state of North Carolina to Oregon to get one, because if I'm going to spend that kind of money on a travel trailer or fifth wheel its going to be a Outdoor Rv. Outdoors RVs are THE BEST! I have a 2020 Glacier Park F28RKS 5th wheel and love it! ALL ORVs are made for off grid camping. Each frame is designed and made specific for each model. You can’t get any better!!

2022 ORV 23DBS owner here, i owned a forest River NOBO before. this ORV is beyond overbuilt, it is an incredible trailer. We are off grid most of the time, and i expect to keep this trailer for many years to come!

Don is a smart man 😂. I have a ORV 29TRX TH travel trailer and I love it. It comes with the Onan 4000 generator and it tows really well. Empty weight is about 10k, with a max of 14k. Thanks for the video JB.

thanks jb for the video! the rv industry has been getting a bad rep with the lack of build quality etc. so it's nice seeing a brand that over builds their tt's. i was in the market for one but bad reviews scared me away. i'm always lurking though.

Very nice trailer, I was surprised for a 4 season it didn't have the water hookups in a heated compartment.

Went in to one of them, when in Alaska. Have wanted to do that for several years. Awesome rv. I don't like the Schwintek for the slides. We met a couple in Alaska that was having trouble with theirs. Also there is carpet in the slide area. My next rv will be one of these without a slide! Solid build.

I have the exact same trailer. I installed 1050 watts of solar along with 400 amp hrs of lithium batteries. A perfect bug out vehicle.

I have been researching ORV for more than 1 year and these trailers are everything mentioned in this video and so much more. In fact, I am putting in an order for one of the 5th wheels for 2024 model year.,

I like it all except the schwintech slides, have heard a lot of people having issues with them over the years. I’d rather have rack and pinion style slides.

Nice! Just started seeing these recently! This company seems to have boondocking in more remote areas and items being able to function in more extreme weather temps. Thanks for this walkthrough!

Congratulations! Super solid rigs. Especially the frame. I do wish they’d go Victron MPPT over the Zamp PWM, and although I don’t think it’s a magic bullet, I’d prefer Azdel over luan.

I've been looking at this company but in toy haulers. I love everything about these models except the door in the bedroom. I think the 29 foot toy hauler has that too, I'd go for the 27 footer one door

Love our ORV 26KVS Mtn series! Walk in to one and you can see the quality. I let my wife pick the floorplan. I would have gone for a backcountry but as long as we got an ORV I didn’t care

Great review man! The homework leads you to here, Northwood/Arctic Fox/NASH OTG. They all share the same frame builder in house which is why they’re all in the same class of heavy duty. The one Arctic Fox has almost 4,000# cargo cap. Arctic Fox’s interior is brown, browner, brownest. Wish they’d do a brighter interior.

Arctic fox is a sister company to ORV. My dad has a Arctic fox 35-5z and loves it. I currently have a 22 Titanium series 28BKS and its amazing. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

I've got an Onan 5000 in my bumper pull. As a matter of fact, I need to burn some of the gas in the tank - been sitting in there for a little bit.

Awesome video! I was shopping for one this week and the sales lady said the interest rates are 8.99%. Guess I will wait til this spring/summer to see if rates come down.

They also have 1/2” marine plywood roof sheathing.

We need to hold these rv manufacturer to a high standard and build quality will go up making a win for the consumer stop buying junk and they will stop building it demand better people

My sound system on 2 out of my 3 campers were good. The second one we had it was a Stryker with a kicker sounds system with a 12in sub. My new one is a momentum 350g with a rockford fosgate with a 10in sub.😂 got to have a great sound system.

So all of the outdoors rv have full suspension. I own a 2020 270RKS and its a beast for sure. We used it mainly for extended fishing trips, and our camping usually is for 5 to 7 day's. Basically its our 2nd home it's that big

I have an ORV 24RLS, love the trailer, tow with a 2020GMC Denali 3500 gasser. Weighed the trailer today, she is heavy at 8,300lbs with 1420lbs on the hitch.

Great video. I’m looking at getting the 28DBS. Only thing holding me back is i need to get my side by side to camp spots. Had a toy hauler in the past but didn’t like pulling it into my living quarters. So have to decide on another toy hauler or double towing.

Thanks for the video. Indeed, ORV are really better made…low quantities/year must have something to do with quality? We have a 24RLS and it’s the best so far we have had. No problems so far. But: heavy on the tongZ we followed the advice given to us by Thompson RV, and went to a 1ton GMC diesel truck. 1000lbs on the tong will not fit most half ton trucks. Great review! Again!

I bought a Outdoors Rv. 2021 have had back to factory for repairs . Over 30 different mistakes found. Cabinets dragging, Stain on drawers peeling off, bathroom door out of square, squeaky windows, air leaks, 1 window slide window out of square. Broken supports behind drawers , broken support under dinette seat awning leaks, used different screws in cabinet door hinges . Outdoors RV HAS VERY POOR quality control. If you buy one do not sign paperwork until you have it professionally inspected by a certified inspection. 2 years into this Outdoors RV FQS22 my roof has bubbles .contacted outdoors Rv they say Out of warranty might take a look at it in spring. I was told it had a 10 year warranty on the roof when purchased . It is only on the membrane not against leaks, bubbles etc. I also pointed out what looked like nails or staples starting to push up under the membrane. They said oh just debris nothing to worry about. What is debris doing under my roof membrane. Buyer beware . This guy should pull the drawers out and check all supports for misplaced staples and screws and cracked supports. Good luck to him.

Have had one for 5 years and in owners forum you'll see they aren't perfect trailers. They were better pre-covid. They're still just RVs with plenty of issues. Yes some parts of them are better built than the average unit but they still find ways to cut corners.

One thing is for sure never ever ever use lighter fluid just start charcoal. Your food will taste like crap.

ORV doesn't even insulate their aluminum framing--the inside and outside walls are laminated to each other directly through the aluminum which is one of the best thermal conductors there is. And if you ever drop the cover underneath and look at the tanks, the only "insulation" they have is aluminum foil bubble wrap in the bay. Nothing is insulating the tanks directly. The RV industry is so bad that this is "good."
