I just read this article, sceptreflight.net/Model%20Engine%20Tests/OS%20Max-III%2015%20(2).html, and discovered that the OS 21 carb on this engine is stock for this version. Unfortunately a muffler was also a stock item.

This was my fist engine ever. I bought it around 72. I used it for CL during the 70:th. It has been dismantled by an idiot teen (me) so the screws are all a bit tore up. But it still works, I started it 2023. A bit low compression, but it works, now using a RC carb. I used it on a 2m glider (Swedish model "blue phonenix" ) to get the glider off the ground.

Many Thnx for posting this. I came into possession of an O.S. MAX-III 15. The word "Dirty" doesn't come close to how bad the cosmetic condition was... I even thought it was seized-up, but with the aid of your video, I was able to take it apart, break loose the carb & piston, and clean it to close to yours. I too am looking forward to seeing yours run.

Hello, I have a MAX-1 OS 15. My cousin found it few days ago when he was "organizing" the house of my grand parent, who died more than fourteen years ago. I was looking for some information in the internet about this engine, but i didn't found anything on the internet. Do you know something about this engine or know some site that can help me? Sorry for some English erros, I'm from Brazil.
