It's a developing composition which keeps getting more complex and by the time it reaches the end it's blowing up. Point of information, the gentleman playing Drums is Shivamani (legend) on the piano and vocals A R Rahman, the gentleman playing flute is an absolute institution in his own.. The hero here was the gentleman playing Sitar.. he is becoming a legend.. These are all Maestro group... So brace yourself and enjoy.
This was a real hybrid crafted well with music from multiple cultures. And it was gonna come out of places like India , Japan etc. Incredible performance by Asad Khan. But long before Rahman or Asad there were guys like OP Nayyar, Naushad Ravi, Shankar & Jaikishen, etc who gained very little international recognition. Hopefully with globalisation we will see more Gangnam styles.
Tere Bina from the movie Guru by him is nice too-both the movie version (with the most beautiful woman in the world,Miss World 1994,Aishwarya Rai)and some of his concert versions. Also Kwaja Mere Kwaja(from the movie Jodhaa Akbar-the whole soundtrack of the movie is by AR Rahman-and in my opinion the best sound track of Indian movie ever!)-both the movie version and AR Rahman stage performances.
