This is part 3 of a series of 4 videos. After a few day trips left Page towards Oshkosh with a few destinations inbetween. Camped there for one week between thousands of airplanes then headed to the Bahamas.
Just finished my RV-14. I know it’s not an 8, but it has good bones. You have been a great inspiration for me. I can only aspire to see some of the beauty you have experienced. You and Skyrunner are an iconic pair! Thank you! I cannot believe how effortless your skills make this all look.
Every video you put out just amazes me even more. Be glad I didn't see you at Oshkosh. I would have asked too many question. LOL Thanks for sharing your adventures with us again. I'm ready for the next video!
Based on this amazing video series, I think it's safe to say that your aircraft is incredibly reliable! Any major things need to be done during this tour?
Not during the tour. But for an experimental airplane coming from Europe I need landing and overflight permits for Iceland, Canada and the US - and insurance of course.
No filters against glare. Dark clothing will do. Unfortunately I left the canopy frame like delivered from Vans in white powdercoat. I just use a ND filter against the prop disturbance on the GoPros, not so on the 360 cam.
