UPDATE: - Thralls and the Shadow Veil Spell will last longer based on your Magic level, which give the Imbued Heart another use! (Shadow Veil doesn't seem to benefit past 99 Magic tho) - Ancient Brews have been added to the game and they can boost your Magic by up to 6 levels! Imbued heart came in clutch for burst tasks when I was around 90 magic. Getting the boost to be able to use ice barrage instead of ice burst is a huge upgrade in exp/hr on those tasks, almost 30% more exp for me. Same if you're bursting monkeys for magic training!

Is the imbued heart worth buying? Definitely! It comes right after Zenyte on upgrade efficiency. Especially for trident-class weapons, the boost is insane. Even in average gear, you can expect to gain 2-3 max hit with a trident when you pop this. Note that you will only be at 108+109 magic for less than half the duration, so looking at the max dps only tells part of the story; notably, the imbued heart allows +2 max hit with sanguinesti+full ancestral for those two levels. The price is more a reflection of the item's rarity than its impact; these are notoriously hard to get as you have a low chance to get the heart from superior slayer monsters, which are already rare to spawn (you may get 1 in a 200kc task)

Higher magic makes thralls last longer so its very good for that too.

I was too when I checked the dps calc. Of course the numbers could be different depending on what your exactly doing but it turned out it was a good difference on Zulrah.

Just got one today. One week after getting my slayer cape. Crazy that at the time of this posting it was around 30/31m. Now it’s at 118m 😂

Thank you, I'm adding this to the update comment! I tried it out and it gave me the same time on it at 99 compared to 109 tho, so it looks like it doesn't benefit past 99.

It's hard to understand which staves exactly have their max hit boosted from the increase in mage level. Toxic staff of the dead didn't get a max hit damage boost

Its really not hard, he even explains it in the beginning of the video. toxic staff of the dead isn't the same class of weapon as a trident etc. Tridents have a built in spell, they can only cast that 1 damage spell. Toxic staff is used to autocast a range of spells, and gives them a flat 15% damage.

Played bac in the day, quit when hunter came out originally. I cannot believe how much easier money is to make? The ge is a game changer. I'm killing obor. I got flipping 5 hill clubs yesterday. Ive got a 6 mil bank, I'm lvl 78 and I've only played for like a month. I wish I knew about obor when i was choosing cause I'd be an ironman? Essentially I am an iron man, except for making money on the grand exchange. Id have less money in the bank. I would have gotten my rune set a little bit later, and thats it. Kinda frustrating but it is what it is.

Dude, go kill bryophita, forget obor, just farm the keys at end of the waka canue in the wilderness with those moss giants, 1/60 chance, you can kill them in f2p to save membership time, but be sure to fight bryophita in membership cause the average drop is 85k gp there, and in a f2p world is really low. Its really great so save the mossy keys to fight bryophita after you get the bond to maintain it. You can have your base in the ferox enclave recharging your energy and banking there. You can bring 3 valuable itens to wild and fill the rest with cheap crap armor, like rune platebody, platelegs, rune scimitar and the rest mithril. If you really want to keep killing obor, go to the lava maze in the wild, its 1/60 the change there too killing giants, if you kill them outside of wilderness the key drop chance is 1/256. But, acording to wiki money makers, colecting nature runes and high alching steel platebodies in the wilderness is the 2 best f2p money makers.

@@idewmeth4203 chase when I was making my account, and thinking about being an iron, in free to play, I didn't know how tf I was gonna get rune armor. Obor is how you do that f2p. Or its the way I saw ever f2p iron I talked to do it.

@@troyrussell177 theres another fun way you can play, called soft-iron or bronzeman mode. Its half iron, half normal account. You can buy skilling supplies, runes etc from ge but all your gear or major upgrades you have to obtain yourself first (see it in your collection log) also if you have a 6m bank i recommend grinding that up for another week or 2 and buy yourself a bond :) that'll unlock so much fun content for a lvl 78
